Ch 5-Can't Catch a Brake

Last time in the land of Teyvat---------

~Meliodas felt disgusted at the sight of fatui Agents placing about 5 small children in rags inside a cart. Wich are probably going to be shipped off on the near shore of Mondstat. He finally realized that things weren't as vanilla as they were shown in the game and that the Fatui are really the worst of the worst. "tch now I can't leave. if I do it will leave a bad taste in my mouth"

Meliodas as he was contemplating the truth about this world although he already expected it. suddenly heard a notification noice next to him. As he read what it said.

[Ding! new quest has been added.

Quest: Be The Hero

Description: I Am The Bone Of My Swo- cough* cough*. rescue the innocent kidnapped children before they are taken away to Dottore.

Reward: Multiverse phone: A phone that allows you to chat with people across the universe.

PS. multiverse chat feature will be locked until age 18. other features will be available.]

As Meliodas looked at the quest he couldn't help but be exited. Not because of the multiverse chat but because he would finally be able to read manga and watch anime again. one of the things that he had regretted coming to this world was that he wouldn't be able to keep watching his favorite anime and manga. But now that he will get this phone from this quest, he will be able to do it all once more. And also the part of being 18 was probably because his body was about 14 years old even though in his last life he was already 18. But although he was exited about this he finally came back to reality.

"Can't catch a brake huh" was the only thing he could mutter since he would need to fight fatui agents Which were completely different from fighting hirchuls. so obviously he knows that this will be a battle that will be harder than usual.

But before he would go in, Meliodas decided to scout the area finding that there were only 2 fatui agents that could turn invisible, one Mirror Maiden, and one Cicin Mage.

Going down the cliff Meliodas kept crouching while slowly walking towards the back side of the two two fatui agents. And as he made it behind he got into a stance until all that could be heard was the sound of two heads rolling on the ground and the sound of Meliodas unsheathing and shearing back lost Vayne back into its scarab

Although Meliodas tried to be discrete and kill them all silently. he knew that he had to take care of the two enemies that could turn invisible first because of he had taken care of the other first. the Fatui Agents could have becomes invisible and take the children away without him noticing so he took out the main quest threat first.

"Who are you" said the Mirror Maiden in a venomous tone. of course she was startled but after working under Dottore for a while , you would get used to seeing co-workers die in this line of work.

Meliodas not answering rushed towards the mirror Maiden with lost Vayne on his hand. As he ran he compressed cryo energy on his blade and swinged it at her sending out a blue crescent blade flying towards her. But as the cold energy blade came close to her she made a window and it got absorbed into it and got sent back to Meliodas not knowing how much she fucked up.

As the energy blade reached him he swung his sword at it and shouted "FULL COUNTER" sending the icy blade that was 5 times stronger tham last time, not back at the mirror Maiden but towards the unsuspecting Cicin Mage cutting her in half before she was even able to dodge. The mirror maiden seeing this couldn't help but be disappointed at her subordinate for freezing up during times like these but who cares at this point.

Meliodas kept running towards her only to be met midway by 10 windows made out of water, all shooting a blast of compressed water towards him impaling him in the leg arms and abdomen. And as the mirror maiden saw this she couldn't help but smile at the scene, being glad that her attack worked but then Meliodas whent poof and he turned into a cloud of smoke and disappearing. The mirror maiden seeing this couldn't help but panick til she heard someone behind her say

"Gotcha Bitch"

Meliodas behind her stabbing her through the heart and killing her on the spot. "wow Lost Vayne clone power really is good. the anime didn't do it's usability justice". as Meliodas said that he got the notification that the quest was complete and then a phone suddenly appeared on his hand making him exited. but before he could do that he knew he needed to check on the kids inside the carriage.
