Genshin Impact : Transmigrated with Gloxinia template

Author's note: Well, hello there! First time writing a story so don't expect an amazing one, but I will do my best. If you have some complaints, please give me constructive critique so I can hopefully improve and give you a better story down the line. I write for fun and to relax so don't bother with powerstones, but I appreciate comments so don't hesitate!

English is my second language if it can even qualify as is so sorry but don't expect amazing grammar and all of that. I will do the best I can.

In a certain forest, a man that shouldn't be here can be seen waking up with great difficulty.

"Why is there so much noise in the morning" said our protagonist with his eyes still closed stifling a yawn.

"And why is my bed so hard?"

Opening his eyes, his brain struggle to register what he sees in front of him. Instead of his room, he sees trees and a river not far away.

That's right, our protagonist is one of those, a transmigrator.

'Where the f*ck am I?'

'And where exactly is my bed?'

Yes, instead of worrying about anything else in this situation, he worries about his bed. It shows where his priorities are.

'Alright so it's clear I'm in a forest instead of my home. I need to know where exactly I am to try and return home but I have an inkling that it won't be possible.'

'Seeing this suspicious system talking in my head, something impossible by normal means, I am likely in another world. But it could also be that the world is not as simple as I know it and supernatural elements exist.'

'The only mean to have some information is by this system. That leave me with two options: asking questions to clarify my situation or try to survive and finding civilization so I can have information about where I am.'

'Sorry grandma but I choose the easy way'

"System, where am I exactly and why are you trying to help me?"

(Answer: Host is in a forest near Vanarana in the country of Sumeru in the world known to the host as Genshin Impact. System was instructed by its creator to help host live as long as possible in this new world.)

"In Genshin? Seriously? It's at the same time super cool and horrible. There's too much danger and there should be a future war which was hinted by the game."

"Why does your creator want me to live a long life?"

(Answer: In reincarnating you and helping you live longer; my creator collects what is known as "soul energy".)

'That's suspicious as f*ck!'

"What happens to me if he collects my soul energy?"

(Answer: collection of soul energy has no impact to the host except its future reincarnation. Host would normally reincarnate in the same world when host die since soul energy is normally collected by the world itself, but it won't happen because of my creator. Additionally, System is tasked to make you powerful enough so that you can produce more soul energy for my creator.)

"So, your creator helps me in exchange for my soul energy which has no impact for me right now? Then fuck it I'm in."

"Wait, where am I in the timeline of Genshin?"

(Answer: Host is 10 years before the awakening of the twin in Mondstadt.)

'Ten years huh, that's a long time before the start of the story. At least it will let me adapt to the world'

"System, you said you would help gain power, how does that work?"

(Answer: Host will be given a template of a character that host know according to host situation and host will be given its power.)

"A template System huh, I liked those systems in the fanfictions I read before."

'And thinking about it, it seems like I retained most of my memory from before my reincarnation, or is it transmigration?'

'Anyway, I recall most of my life except my name. A lazy man with some money and no family? Yep, I check out the protagonist cliché situation apparently.'

"System, initiate the analyze of the surrounding so you can give me my power quickly. I was lucky enough to not be discovered by fungus and hilichurls or worse, other people."

As our protagonist now named Gloxinia heard the system notifications, he began to feel drowsy and soon closed his eyelids falling into a deep sleep.

As the process ended, Gloxinia began to wake up from his sleep.

"What a good sleep… Wow, my voice is quite different! Now, let's see what changed."

As Gloxinia got up, he noticed that his vision was shorter than usual and that he was feeling a weight on his back.

Turning his head around, it was at that time that he saw for first his wings, with an appearance of butterfly wings and mixed glowing colors, his wings were quite beautiful and huge.

"Man, those wings were already beautiful on screen but in reality it's quite the thing."

After examining his wings for a bit, he continued to inspect his body.

Gloxinia body is small and quite slender due to the characteristics of his race, he has beautiful long red hair and long ears. His face can be said to be androgynous and beautiful accented by his amber eyes. 

"The body of the fairy king is quite something, I already feel more powerful than my previous human self."

"It seems like I didn't change too much personality wise, maybe a bit more selfish and calmer but that's a pretty good thing in my mind."

'The only things left is my powers, and it seems like I don't have Basquias'

"Hell yeah! I have access to Basquias!" exclaimed Gloxinia with armed raised and excitement all over his face, startling a small being near him.

Without paying attention tough, he immediately summons Basquias.

Basquias in its first form is a golden spear with a long handle and a half circle just before the blade. It emits a golden aura.

He says then "Hehehe, now this beautiful spear is mine!" while swinging his spear all around him without care and startling again the same small being.

"Fairy friend! Stop it please!"

"Oh Arasata! I'm sorry, I didn't see you there. Why are you here?" he asks the small red Aranara.

"Araja asked for Fairy friend to find sunsetta fruits for Arasata."

"I see, wait a moment" said Gloxinia as he proceeds to use disaster on a tree not far to produce the fruits and at the same time forming a basket with its branches.

"Here you go"

"Thank you, Fairy friend!"

"Be careful with it when you return see the village chief"

"Yes!"

*Sigh*

'So much energy in a small body'

During these two years, Gloxinia has come into contact one day when training with an Aranara. Since then, he became great friend with them and has become a celebrity thanks to his race and powers over nature.

In truth, the main reason Gloxinia is liked by the Aranaras this much is thanks to his kindness with them and his generosity when it comes to help them.

'I guess it's fine to live with them since they are kind, and it will protect me from unwanted visits' is what he was thinking at the time.

But unknowingly, he became attached to these small being due to their pure nature and their connection to nature.

"It's time to test out Basquias. Man, I can't believe I have it, I waited so much time waiting for it! But it seems a little bit different from what I remember, maybe the system changes it a bit."

"Alright, it seems like its base state is the first form, let's try its second one"

"Basquias: Form Two "Guardian""

With a golden glow, Gloxinia witness his spear take the form of a giant hornet-like insect.

"Interesting, I can sense that its speed is really quick and it has quite the power. But I can't seem to use Necrosis with it, maybe with enough training I will be able to use it.

"Next is form three. Hm? Interesting."

"Basquias: Form Three "Sunflower""

As Basquias transform in a giant Sunflower, Gloxinia think about its implication.

'Sunflower is originally the fourth form of Chastiefol, the spear of King. It means that the other unknown form of Basquias will be replaced by those of Chastiefol by the system.'

'That's quite good since I have at least an understanding of those abilities'

"Hmm, Its really big huh. Better using it sparingly in the future to not attract too much attention. Though I won't hesitate if I need to use it, better be exposed than dead after all."

"Alright, next form"

"Basquias: Form Four "Increase""

Basquias then transformed in a multitude of smaller blade forming a cloud of deadly weapon.

'As expected, it's a form from Chastiefol but with some difference in appearance. The small blades are all golden.'

"Next."

"Basquias: Form Five "Yggdra Armor""

Basquias began to transform

'Hmm… I see, an increase in defense and physical offense huh. A useful form, one of my favorites for now actually.' though Gloxinia with a small smile.

"Next."

"Basquias: Form Six… It seems like I can't use it." said our protagonist with an unwilling face.

*Ding*

Well, that's it for the first chapter!

It honestly took way more time than I expected to write this chapter. It could be because It's my first to write but now I have even more respect for other authors lol.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it and personally I'm excited about what's to come.

For the people who don't really like this training phase, don't worry too much as It won't last too long. I will do some time skip and mention only important moment like in this chapter when Gloxinia got Basquias.
