Chapter 5
"Mora Weasels?" Paimon's eyes lit up. She was surprised to hear it. Jason seemed to sleep in a pile of Mora without doing anything every day. The amount of Mora kept increasing?
Isn't this her ultimate dream?
"Mora weasels, also known as Weasel Thieves, can spit out Mora," Jason added.
"Wow!"
Paimon hurriedly hugged his feet, "Master Jason, will you support us?"
Lumine's face blushed slightly after hearing this, but she didn't panic because no one would take Paimon's words seriously.
Jason tried kicking Paimon off his feet but failed to get rid of her.
"Before I say yes, now I make money from the restaurant," Jason said.
"Then, what about the Mora Weasels?" Paimon asked expectantly.
Amber grabbed her speechlessly and replied instead of Jason, "Of course, they were all released."
"Release!?" Paimon was dumbfounded. She couldn't understand how anyone could reject free money.
"Of course!"
"Guess how many Treasure Hoarders Boss Jason beat back at that time to capture Mora Weasels?"
"If he doesn't release those weasels, Treasure Hoarders from Mondstadt and Liyue and other regions will always watch him."
Amber also added, "However, the Treasure Hoarders who have lost their assets were all eyeing Boss Jason. At that time, the security around Mondstadt and Liyue was surprisingly good."
"Ah! Is it so dangerous?" Paimon exclaimed in fright.
"In the future, you may be able to find some Mora Weasel in the wild. You can see it then."
Jason said lightly and looked at Lumine again, "First, come here. I'll give you a set of equipment."
"This..." Lumine hesitated. She was not sure whether to accept his help.
"Lumine, don't hesitate!"
"It's a good thing that others can't encounter." Paimon urged Lumine.
"It looks like Boss Jason takes special care of Lumine," Amber said with some envy.
Jason, who has fought against Treasure Hoarders countless times, has always been one of Amber's role models.
"If Amber wants, I can give you a set of equipment later," Jason said with a smile.
If you want to level up yourself, Amber is also one of the objects to be trained.
If she can shoot dynamite barrels and break the game mechanism?
It doesn't matter.
This is the real world, not the game universe.
Training one more person means adding another combat power.
"It's great, thank you, Boss Jason!" Amber said happily.
She pulled Paimon, who was in the air and pinched her face happily.
"Why do I still suffer!" Paimon quickly broke free and flew out, looking puffed up in anger.
"Lumine!"
Jason called out from the attic door.
"Well, we're here." Lumine followed with a few steps and looked at the spacious attic enviously.
Although named attic, it is actually the restaurant's third floor, but it only occupies half of the second-floor space.
The custom-made high-grade wooden floors and interior walls ventilated windows, and bright skylights make anyone comfortable walking in.
Lumine couldn't help but want to stretch her body.
There are four rooms on this floor, and on the side of the aisle that only one person can pass through is a large room owned by Jason, the owner of the Good Hunter restaurant.
Lumine didn't immediately follow up but took a few steps forward and stuck her head out to look at the aisle corner. She found that there were still two doors to the room, guessing that the innermost room covered by a curtain was probably the bathroom.
A purple mark on the door of one of the rooms made her a little concerned.
"Wow! Is that a treasure chest?" Paimon, who came in, had already jumped in front of a treasure chest and hugged it with both arms.
Lumine had no choice but to walk inside the room.
"Ummm..."
Jason sat on a sofa beside him and said, "This is the equipment I don't need anymore. I've stored it here."
"Then, can I open it?" Paimon asked and started opening the chest without any confirmation.
"Wait..." Jason was about to remind Paimon to be careful when Paimon suddenly opened the treasure chest.
A surging elemental power spewed out of the dust-covered treasure chest.
Paimon's small figure was blasted directly to the ceiling, and she fell down with a 'bang' sound.
"Ah!! It hurts!" Paimon tearfully cried in pain.
"Are you okay? Be careful!" Lumine picked her up and retorted.
But, Paimon didn't intend to listen to her and rushed straight to the treasure chest again.
From the treasure chest, a long sword was raised by her.
The sword had a black and white slender body, with creamy white pegasus wings at the grid rolled up to the hilt, protecting the user's hand from harm.
The whole sword flickered with faint lights.
"Wow, this is a sword glowing with the wind element. It suits you, Lumine!" Paimon reluctantly flew in the air and said.
"It's elemental affinity." Jason corrected her.
This sword initially didn't have any elemental affinity. But, the craftsmen in Mondstadt have achieved some results in elemental affinity by studying Mondstadt's Anemo. Because of the abundant wind elements in Mondstadt, over time, the wind is wrapped around this sword.
"Is this not..."
Standing at the door, Amber widened her eyes, looking at the sword, "Is this Favonius Sword?"
"Favonius Sword?" Lumine felt very familiar listening to this name.
The Knights of Favonius, Favonius Sword...
"This is a standard longsword wielded by the Knights of Favonius. It is usually issued after the approval of both the Master of the order and the Church. This light and agile sword is not only an honor bestowed upon a Knight of Favonius but also the fruit of the hard work and skills of the guardians of Mondstadt."
Amber said after raising their interests, "I don't even have one. Boss Jason, do you really want to give this sword to Lumine?"
