The Book's Secret

"Ryuu, you may think you're the reason Hanzo didn't come back to the Uchiha but I don't think he'd come back, either way, he may have been a great ninja but he also married an Uzumaki, that means that he was always going to be looked down upon by the clan.

But that's not the point of what I'm telling you, what I'm trying to say is don't think it's your fault that he didn't come back to the Uchiha, think about it as he sacrificed himself for you to achieve a better life."

'Fugaku's words somehow comforted me, but I couldn't shake the feeling.'

"Fugaku-dono, I must go, thank you for this lesson.

I hope I can come back and you'll teach me more jutsu, but I would like to learn some genjutsu techniques next time."

'Mastering genjutsu would make my fights much faster and easier.'

"Ryuu, you're always welcome here and, of course, I will teach you the genjutsu and ninjutsu you want. I will help you with it. After all, you're what's left of my brother.

I will help you in any way I can.

It was great to have you here, you should come back sometimes."

Ryuu nodded and left the Uchiha compound.

'On my way back home I stopped by at Big sis Kushina's place to see if she's there.'

"Knock knock knock!"

"Is anyone home?!"

No one responded.

'I guess no one's home. She must be on a mission. I should get going now.'

Ryuu finally reached home.

"I'm Home!"

No one greeted him as he entered, he thought Kakashi was asleep and went to check his room but that too was empty.

"Oh well, I'll just start checking out the book in my room."

Ryuu went to his room to get the book,

'I spilled my blood on the side.'

*Poof* A small white cloud appeared.

He opened the second page of the book.

"Ryuu, we made this book for you to guide you, we knew you were a special child a long time ago, sometimes in your sleep, you would talk about another world and the future.

At first, we overlooked it as just a child babbling, but as time flew by, we realized what you said started happening.

Yuri and I started worrying that the village would turn on you and attempt to kill you, or use you and we were right, somehow Danzo and his Root found out.

He attempted to have you assassinated as a child, but he didn't know your father was there; he slaughtered all of them effortlessly.

Danzo was furious to hear that so many of his root members got slaughtered that easily and he swore to have both of us killed.

After what happened that day, your mother used a powerful fuinjutsu to seal some of your memories into your chain, however, the cost of this fuinjutsu was our lives.

During the night we died, we got attacked by Danzo and 20 of his most elite Root shinobi.

They snuck behind us because I had lost a lot of my sensory abilities because of the power of the seal.

Your father got injured and came back to complete the seal, just as we finished sealing, I got stabbed through my back by Danzo but it was too late; the seal was complete.

So we made a book and sealed some secret Jutsus and equipment to help you."

'I still can't shake the fact that Danzo would try to assassinate me and he killed my parents.'

"I'm Home!" Ryuu heard Kakashi as he came back.

"Hey, Kakashi, where have you been? I came back, and no one was home, so I just started looking at the contents of the book." Ryuu said,

"I was just training. I thought you would be gone for a longer time and I trained longer, but that doesn't matter.

What did you find out in the book?"

He asked as he entered the room.

"Alright, Kakashi, don't tell anyone what's in the book.

It's supposed to be a secret but I'm only going to tell you cause I trust you." Kakashi nodded and sat down to listen.

Kakashi's eyes kept getting wider and wider the more Ryuu told him.

"Wow, so you're telling me that Danzo and the root were trying to get to you and your parents?" Ryuu nodded.

"Also, the Uchiha clan leader Fugaku is my father's brother and my uncle."

Kakashi was shocked by what I said. He couldn't believe that Fugaku was my uncle.

"All this happened in one day, that's nearly impossible Ryuu."

Kakashi said he couldn't believe it; he thought the day was going to be uneventful.

"oh before I forget, I learned a new jutsu from Fugaku-dono, it's called the Fire style Fireball jutsu, I'm going to be learning genjutsu techniques as well, I could ask him if you could join as well if you want that Is." Kakashi's eyes widened as he was surprised.

"Ryuu, you would do that for me?" Ryuu nodded.

"Of course, I wouldn't want to leave you behind by that much would I, plus even if he doesn't allow it, I'll still teach you by myself."

Ryuu raised his hand for a fist bump as he smiled.

Ryuu still shocked Kakashi, but he just returned the fist bump to him and smiled.

"Hey Kakashi, when do you think dad is coming?"

"He said he'll be back after 4 weeks but it's an A-rank mission so it could take longer or shorter, either way, why did you ask this suddenly?"

Ryuu looked up and sighed.

"I just feel that I was being too harsh on him, the last time he tried to talk to him I shrugged him off, I didn't even tell him goodbye before he left for his mission, he might be Konoha's white fang but if something happened to him during this mission, the last thing he would remember about me was me being cold-hearted to him and not trusting him."

Kakashi looked at Ryuu and said,

"Ryuu, nothing is going to happen to dad. He'll be fine, plus he knows you well enough to know that you didn't mean whatever you said.

And he still loves you like a son and I love you as I would my own brother. We will always be there for you."

Ryuu's eyes widened, and tears were balancing in his eyes.

"Anyway, what are you two arguing about?"

Ryuu wiped the tears off.

'Should I tell him? Or should I keep it a secret? I don't like secrets and I prefer not having any, but such things happen either way, so I guess I should tell him the truth.'

Ryuu told Kakashi everything.

"I see, well I don't blame you for how you reacted because I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing."

"But let's go back a little. You're telling me you have more chakra than that?"

Ryuu nodded, "Yeah pretty much." said Ryuu, while scratching the back of his head.

Ryuu looked at Kakashi, and he was looking quite depressed.

"I'll never get that much chakra, will I?" Kakashi said, and Ryuu laughed out loud.
