"No sis, school was never interesting to begin with. You only romanticize it and that's why you feel like it's amazing," Maya groaned.
She hated coming to school every day. The same old people and the same old thing.
"She's in her period, I tell you," Sarah chuckled and Alora join her.
"Ha ha, so funny. I can't even bring myself to laugh at this. Do you even know how painful it is to have periods? You feel like you are dying, screaming, crying, and yet no one's hearing your voice," she said in her normal dramatic tone, with the back of her hand pressed against her forehead.
She was desperate to tell the world how miserable she was.
