The Bet

Hearing Izashi's words made both Xenovia and Irina flinch, though they quickly steeled themselves. Their faith in God wasn't something that could be shaken so easily. Xenovia's eyes narrowed into a glare as she shot back, "There is no way God is dead. He's almighty, far beyond any devil or angel. He cannot be killed."

Izashi let out a deep sigh, shaking his head in mild exasperation. "It's not a matter of belief, Xenovia. It's a fact. God died alongside the Four Original Satans during the great war. The Church has done a remarkable job of keeping it a secret. Even within its own walls, only the highest-ranking angels know the truth."

Despite the conviction in his tone, Xenovia and Irina exchanged a glance, disbelief written all over their faces. Irina, looking more emotional than ever, spoke up, her voice slightly wavering, "You're a devil. How could we believe you? You're just trying to delude us into weakening our faith. You probably want us to lose hope so that we can be easier targets for you."

Izashi smiled at that, finding a slight amusement in their persistence. "That's true—I am trying to shake your faith, but only because it's based on a lie. I'm not the type to waste time spreading baseless lies, so instead of accusing me, how about you think logically for a moment?"

His calm and almost teasing tone silenced them for a moment. There was a tense silence between the four of them, with only the sound of the wind gently rustling the trees around them. Izashi then decided to push further, knowing they wouldn't be convinced by words alone.

"Alright," he said, his voice breaking the silence, "since you both seem to think I'm lying, how about we settle this with a bet?"

"A bet?" Both Xenovia and Irina blinked in confusion. The thought of making a wager with a devil seemed strange, but the curiosity was evident on their faces.

Izashi nodded with a playful glint in his eyes. "Yes, a bet. Let's wager on whether God is really alive or not. Soon, there will be a meeting between the leaders of all the supernatural factions. If you don't believe me, I'll ask Michael himself to reveal the truth to you. If he says God is dead, then you'll have no choice but to accept my words."

Both girls seemed taken aback by the proposition, and although they hesitated for a moment, Xenovia was the first to regain her composure. A confident smirk spread across her face as she turned to Irina, who nodded in agreement. "Alright, if Michael, the highest-ranking angel, says God is dead, we'll believe it."

Izashi's lips curled into a predatory grin, sensing victory was just within his grasp. He took a step closer, his tone becoming more serious as he laid out the stakes. "Excellent. Now, here are the terms. If I'm telling the truth, then you two will serve me as my personal servants for the rest of your lives. You'll be bound to me, and there will be no turning back."

Both Xenovia and Irina inhaled sharply, their faces paling slightly. To serve a devil was something that went against everything they believed in. It was as if he were asking them to willingly sever their connection to Heaven. Still, they remained quiet, waiting for him to finish.

Izashi continued, his tone now more casual as if he were discussing something trivial. "And if I'm wrong… then the entire Gremory clan will serve the Church, act as spies, and provide any assistance you need in dealing with devils. I'd say that's quite the fair trade, wouldn't you?"

The air between them felt thick with tension. Xenovia and Irina shared another glance, doubt flickering in their eyes. Something about this felt off. The stakes were incredibly high, and it seemed absurd for Izashi to risk so much, especially when all he wanted in return was for them to be his servants. But their pride as warriors and their unwavering faith in God wouldn't let them back down now.

Xenovia, her voice firm, nodded. "We accept. We'll take your bet and prepare to watch the Gremory clan fall."

Irina, though still hesitant, nodded as well. "Yes, we'll see how confident you are when you're bowing before the Church."

Izashi barely contained his laughter. He hadn't expected them to agree so easily, but now that they had, things were starting to get interesting. His grin widened, feeling more excited than he had in a long time. They were completely unaware of how one-sided this bet truly was.

"Good," he said, his voice smooth and dripping with amusement. "Now, before we go any further, let's seal this with an oath. Put your belief in God on the line, and I'll put my very existence as a devil on the line."

Xenovia and Irina hesitated once more, but their resolve was firm. They had no reason to doubt their faith. If this bet could confirm God's survival, then they would have nothing to lose. They both stood tall, determination shining in their eyes as they began the oath.

"I, Xenovia Quarta, take this oath with God as my witness. If I fail to uphold my end of the bet, may my body rot in Hell for all eternity," Xenovia declared, her voice unwavering.

Irina followed suit. "I, Irina Shidou, also take this oath with God as my witness. Should I fail to honor the bet, let my soul be condemned to the fires of Hell."

Izashi smiled in satisfaction before raising his hand. "And I, Izashi Gremory, swear upon my existence as a devil. If I fail to uphold my end of the agreement, may my powers be stripped from me, and let me become nothing more than a weak mortal."

As they spoke their oaths, a brilliant light filled the area. Magic circles formed beneath them, one under Xenovia and Irina, and one under Izashi, signifying that the contract had been made. It was now binding, and neither side could escape their fate.

With the contract in place, Izashi extended his hand, shaking first Xenovia's and then Irina's. The deal was sealed.

Satisfied, Izashi turned on his heel and began walking away, leaving the two girls standing in stunned silence. Kuroka, who had been observing the whole exchange, followed behind him, her usual playful expression replaced with a confused frown. As they walked, she couldn't help but ask the question that had been bothering her the whole time.

"Nya~ Izashi, why did you even bother making a bet? Why not just use a chess piece and revive them as your servants right away?"

Izashi glanced at her, suppressing a sigh. He could read her like an open book and knew she wouldn't be satisfied until she had her answer. Still, her question made him chuckle inwardly. 'So that's what's been bugging her,' he thought, amused.

Shaking his head slightly, he replied, "It wouldn't work that way. Reviving them without their agreement would be counterproductive. Sure, I could order them to do whatever I wanted, but that would make them like machines, following commands without any real emotion. Where's the fun in that? I'd much rather enjoy the process of winning them over and savor their reactions."

Kuroka blinked at him, surprised by his explanation. "Oh, so it's all about the fun for you nya~? You devils are really something. But I guess it makes sense. You wouldn't enjoy yourself if they were just mindless dolls."

Izashi nodded, satisfied that she understood. "Exactly. I want them to serve me because they choose to, not because I forced them. Besides, there's something much more satisfying about breaking someone's faith and watching them willingly turn to you."

Kuroka's ears twitched as she mulled over his words. "And is it really true? Is God dead? I've heard rumors, but never anything concrete."

Izashi smiled at her question, though it was more of a knowing smirk this time. "Yes, it's true. God died a long time ago. Haven't you noticed how Kiba's sword can wield both holy and demonic power? That's not supposed to be possible, but with God gone, the balance has been disrupted. Michael's been keeping things in check, but even he can't use the system to its full potential. I only learned about it when my brother got drunk one night and let it slip."

Kuroka's eyes widened at that. If Sirzechs had said it, then it must be true. She nodded, now fully convinced. "I see… So it really is true nya~."

As they teleported back to the Gremory Club Room, Izashi immediately noticed the surprised looks on Rias and Akeno's faces. They weren't expecting him back so soon, but their surprise quickly turned to joy as they saw him. Rias, in particular, seemed relieved, and she wasted no time rushing over to hug him tightly.

"Izashi-kun, where have you been? What were you doing?" she asked, her breasts pressing against his chest as she embraced him.

Izashi smirked but didn't bother answering. Instead, he leaned down and captured her lips in a deep kiss, his hands sliding down to squeeze her ass. Rias moaned softly into the kiss, her body melting against his as his hard dick pressed against her.

Izashi pulled back from the kiss with Rias, watching as her eyes fluttered open, filled with a dreamy haze. Her breathing was uneven, her lips slightly swollen from their intense embrace. Her body pressed closely against his, and for a moment, it felt as though they were the only two in the room.

Rias blinked a few times, almost as if she had forgotten her earlier question. Her usual composed demeanor had been replaced with something much softer, more vulnerable. She clung to him as if afraid he might vanish, her voice now a soft murmur. "Izashi-kun... what were you doing before?"

Instead of answering, Izashi smirked slightly, his hands sliding down to cup her ass once more, squeezing it gently. "Do I really need to explain?" he teased, his voice low and suggestive. Rias shivered in response, her body reacting instinctively to his touch.

But before the moment could escalate any further, Izashi's gaze flicked toward Akeno, who had been watching them with a knowing smile. Her violet eyes sparkled mischievously as if waiting for her turn.

"Akeno," Izashi called out with a grin, "Don't just stand there. Come here."

Without hesitation, Akeno stepped forward, her usual playful demeanor on full display. She walked with a sway in her hips, clearly enjoying the attention she was getting from Izashi. As she approached, her hand lightly brushed Rias' shoulder, causing the red-haired devil to step aside with a soft, lingering sigh. Rias gave Akeno a knowing look, silently acknowledging that it was her time now.

Akeno's lips curved into a teasing smile as she stopped right in front of Izashi, her chest nearly pressing against his. "You seem eager tonight, Izashi-kun," she teased, her voice like honey, dripping with seduction. "Rias barely got to finish her kiss."

Izashi chuckled, his hand sliding up to rest on Akeno's waist, pulling her closer until there was no space left between them. "Well, Akeno... I think you deserve some attention too, don't you?"

Her teasing smirk widened as she leaned in, her lips inches from his, her breath hot against his skin. "If you insist, Izashi-kun." Without further hesitation, she pressed her lips against his, this time initiating the kiss.

Their lips met in a slow, deliberate embrace, the kind that built anticipation. Akeno's hand trailed up to tangle in Izashi's hair, while his arm circled around her waist, pulling her flush against him. Her body melded perfectly with his as if they had done this countless times before—because they had.

As the kiss deepened, the heat between them intensified. Akeno moaned softly into his mouth, her fingers tightening their grip on his hair, pulling him closer.

Izashi, never one to hold back, responded by sliding his free hand down her back, tracing the curve of her body before settling firmly on her ass. He gave her a firm squeeze, eliciting another soft sound from Akeno, who responded by pressing herself even closer to him.

But just as things began to escalate once again, the atmosphere in the room shifted. A sudden, bright flash of crimson light filled the club room, cutting through the heated moment. Izashi immediately pulled away from Akeno, his senses on high alert. Both Akeno and Rias turned toward the source of the light as well, their expressions shifting from playful to serious in an instant.

A large, intricate red teleportation circle had formed on the floor, glowing brightly with the unmistakable symbol of the Gremory clan. It was a familiar sight, one that immediately caused both Rias and Akeno to exchange surprised glances.

"Did you... call for Sirzechs?" Izashi asked Rias, his tone curious but cautious. His hand remained resting on Akeno's waist, but his attention was now fully focused on the teleportation circle.

Rias shook her head, her earlier playfulness replaced by a more serious expression. "No... I didn't call him."

Akeno, too, looked confused. "Neither did I," she added, her usual confidence wavering for a moment. "It's not like Sirzechs-sama to appear unannounced."
