16. Out of Court settlement

"Okay, hand me the tape recorder and I will forget about this, of course I may need you to appear in the court as witness so leave your contact information and believe if you left a fake contact number then I will just have to report you to the police as well" Rowan said and the tall man with the broken nose handed the tape recorder along with their contact number after that they pulled there broken body out of the alley while helping each other.

Rowan immediately called Mary and informed him what happened and got berated by her. "What were you thinking? Why did you think about taking a risk like that?"

"Maybe I was hasty but atleast with this we can deal with Alessandro." Rowan said as he sat back in his car and drive back home but he didn't think that Mary was waiting there for him.

"What are you doing here?" Rowan asked

"We couldn't talk properly on the phone so here I am" Mary said causing Rowan to shake his head in exasperation but he still asked her to enter his house and gave her a glass of water before he sat down on the sofa.

"What are you going to do? Are you going to kick him out of the crew?" Mary asked

With a thousand thoughts in his mind, Rowan turned his head and glanced at the picture of his parents in this life and sighed

"He is just a minion. The one who really dislikes me is still behind. Even if Director John Woo values me and kicks him out of the crew, it still can't stop David from inserting more people in."

"It's not all my money, I still have enough for emergency but who doesn't like more money " Rowan said and it was true, he didn't touch the money he got from the movie but the $100,000 from the book and $500,000 from the compensation of his parents accident all of this was invested in stocks.

The 500,000 dollars were invested just 1 week after he came back to L.A. He knew which stocks would rise so how can he wait when he have the chance to get rich.

"As expected of you, you are a top student who is taking a break from his dual doctorate of Maths and Biology. You are mature, thick-skinned, and ruthless. I find you to be a very unique person!"

Rowan quickly shook his head and directly refuted Mary's slander, saying loudly

"No way, don't talk nonsense. I have always been a person who never offends others unless they offend me. A good citizen like me should be commended."

Unable to help but chuckle, a strange smile appeared on her face, and she smoothed her long hair and continued

After saying that, he stood up and left while Rowan also went back to sleep.

Nothing happened overnight. Rowan woke up early got into his car to get to the studio after making sure he was early he started running around Paramount Studios, greeting every crew member he met along the way. The smile on his face gave people a feeling of a good spring breeze.

After running for about half an hour, a familiar phone call was heard. Rowan picked it up and saw that it was Mary calling. He stopped, adjusted his breathing, and then answered the call.

"Alessandro's agent has contacted me, and they actually agreed to the $500,000 you proposed."

every day, I would be very willing to do

it. "

"Got it. Just shoot well and remember to be safe. Also, I got you into the crew of Mask of Zorro but only as an Action Director, thanks to John Woo adding your name as Action Director because of you freestyle running and Parkour I was able to add you in this crew as one, I just want you to leave an impression on Steven Spielberg who will be there as a producer from time to time. It will help us in the future."

Rowan knew that she was talking about Saving private Ryan but that project was only in the starting phase so he understood that by leaving an impression on Spielberg now will help him in the future when he Auditions for the movie.

So he simply said "hmm" and hung up. Mary bit her lip, glanced at Rowan's information on the desktop, and shook her head slowly.

In the next week or so, a large number of Rowan's indoor scenes were shot. According to the shooting progress, many important and large-scale outdoor shoots will be carried out in the coming period. Only one scene of his was left which was a big outdoor scene that was going to be shot in the Airport.

This is also one of the important scenes of the movie so Rowan wanted to make sure that he doesn't make any mistakes although he had already done this once in the dream dungeon.
