Chapter 26 This is my boyfriend

The following morning, Chen Kai, who was accustomed to waking early, got up at dawn and headed to the balcony to freshen up, courtesy of his biological clock.

He breathed in the fresh morning air from the window and thoroughly enjoyed the simple task of brushing his teeth.

Qin Xiang, passing by Chen Kai's open room door, was curious and noticed Chen Kai was on the balcony.

"You're up so early. Perfect. Give me a lift to work."

Chen Kai, looking back at the sound of her voice, noticed it was Qin Xiang. He was taken aback for a moment, then nodded, hastened his teeth brushing, and headed into the bathroom.

Downstairs, Qin Xiang leisurely enjoyed her breakfast. When she finished her last piece of toast, Chen Kai appeared right on cue.

"Let's go after breakfast."

"Won't we be a little late? I could come back and eat later."

He wasn't particularly hungry and was indifferent about breakfast.

"Skipping breakfast may cause low blood sugar. Let's eat. We can spare a few minutes."
