Lu Nanfeng Calls

Mister Jiang was shocked by how knowledgeable He Lixue was. He had never thought that she would be able to know that, while they could move the He family, they were helpless against Lu Nanfeng. 

He narrowed his eyes; how could she possibly know this when she was a pampered princess from the upper class? 

He Lixue smiled. She did not know what purpose these people had for kidnapping her, nor did she know which people were backing them, but she had been in the Organization for a long time, and thus she knew about them being unable to move Lu Nanfeng.

Since not even the Organization was capable of moving Lu Nanfeng, how could some random power do it? 

She never thought that it was the Organization that was hunting her. They were too mysterious, and she had no interaction with them in her current life.

Although they would be able to recognize her signature in the coding and programming of the company's security system, they should not be able to link it together. 

Unfortunately, they had. Also, someone inside the company had sent them a full copy of the program, so they could recognize the distinct signature coding that He Lixue used.

He Lixue knew that she could not always hide from the Organization, but she felt that she had to finish the revenge of the original body before contacting them again. Not to mention, she had never planned on returning to the abyss. 

While she did want to reconnect to her teacher and her friends, she would not blindly follow them now that she had been given a second chance in life. 

Although she owed her teacher much, it had been repaid with her life. Now she could live for herself for the first time in her two lifetimes. It was a strange feeling, but she enjoyed it very much. 

She currently had a job she liked, and she was going to start university when the new school year began. 

She had a bright future in front of her. How could she possibly accept returning to the abyss that was full of danger and death? 

Sighing, she laid back down on the bed. Her eyes were full of complex emotions, and she could not fall asleep again. 

Her stomach growled, she felt quite uncomfortable, but she knew that she could not leave the hotel right now. They were most likely still looking for her, but what their aim was, she still had no idea. 

He Lixue ordered food through the room service, and when the food arrived, she dug in, while thinking about her next move. 

She could not stay at the hotel; if she did, she would eventually be noticed by the people who were after her, but she could not go home either, as they would camp in front of the Golden River Estates.

Just as she was deep in thought, her phone rang. This time she looked at the number displayed on the screen and saw that it was Lu Nanfeng.

"Brother Nanfeng," she called out as she picked up the phone. Her voice was sweet and pleasant to listen to like the sound was like a clear stream that gave one a refreshing feeling.

"Lixue, are you okay?" This was the fist Lu Nanfeng asked. One must know that when he turned on his phone after leaving the plane, his heart was in his throat. 

To think that someone really wanted to kidnap her, he felt extremely uncomfortable. 

"I am okay," He Lixue assured him. "But I am in a bit of a pickle," she continued. "I am currently resting in a hotel, but if they are professionals, they will go through my banking records, and they will eventually find the hotel I'm staying in from the transactions, so I cannot stay here for long."

"Go to my home," Lu Nanfeng said. "I will greet them and tell them to let you in. Stay in my home until I come back. I will cancel my business here and hurry back on the next plane."

"No, don't." He Lixue was not as worried as Lu Nanfeng. "I will stay in your home and wait for you to return. Help me apply for a leave from Manager Mo, and you should focus on your work. It is not that dangerous yet; I can still manage to deal with them."

"I don't want you to suffer," Lu Nanfeng said, clearly unhappy with her suggestion of him staying on his business trip instead of coming back.

"Dear, they will not give up until they get their hands on me," He Lixue said with a sigh. "I can try and get some information about them when I am at your place, but I will need your help to deal with them. Especially if it is a large gang, I will not be able to remove them on my own.

"But removing them will take time," He Lixue was quite sure that it was but an ordinary gang who was after her. Hence she had no trouble about considering removing them. Although she would not kill them, she would send them to jail.

"Since it will take time, it is better to take it slow. If you hurry home, that will just alert them, and things will become much more difficult. 

"Send me your address, and I will hurry to your home. Then I will borrow a laptop, figure out who is after me, and we will take it from there on. I will spend the days you are gone to find traces and proof of their illegal activities. Then you can deal with them when you come back."
