Chapter 21: Forty Five Days
There were a few groans and sighs in response to the Sila council request.
"First of all, we have found no evidence of your accusation,” the Sila council elder reported while addressing Leonardo and the vampire coven members.
Leonardo banged the table. “That’s ridiculous! How can yo–”
"It has already been decided.” the council elder affirmed.
"What kind of evidence do you want?” Leonardo spoke up.
"Do not interrupt” The Sila council elder stated.
Leonardo narrowed his eyes and pouted. He knew that he could not speak anymore.
"The Shifter pack has a right to protect itself. But the rules are clear. No vampire hunters should be trained by the shifter pack. Both the vampire coven and shifter council have forty-five days to come up with a plan on how to catch the people behind the shifter killings."
Leonardo’s jaw dropped.
"Are we done here?" I raised my voice.
"Yes, your Highness. The meeting’s over. You are all dismissed."
