Chapter 15

When the door to the mansion opened, a beautiful four years old girl flew down the grand staircase and hugged me.

"Welcome!" said Bella.

"You look just like the angel I imagined," continued Bella.

"Hi! You must be Bella. Nice to meet you," I said when she let go of me.

I bent down and smiled at her.

"My name is Tiffany," I introduced myself.

Bella smiled at me and said, "Hi Tiffany."

Then she took hold of my hand.

"Miss Bella would you like to join us? I am bringing Miss Tiffany for a tour around the mansion," said Ed.

"Yes!Yes! I want to show her all my favourite places," said Bella excitedly.

Together with Bella we walked hand in hand together around the mansion.

It took us nearly 40 minutes to go around the whole mansion!

"This is your room, Miss Tiffany. It is attached to Bella's room," said Ed while he opened the door to my room.

In the room there is a king-sized bed with a big wooden cupboard as well as a chest of drawer at the corner of the room. There is also a writing table as well as a vanity table at another corner. A television is attached to the wall in front of the bed. It also comes with an attached bathroom. There are a few windows with a door opening up to a balcony which over looks the swimming pool and a view of Hong Kong. There was another door which opens up to Bella's room. The wall paper is very Victorian style. It looks like a five star hotel room.

"See you can enter my room through this door," said Bella while she pulled me into the room towards the door which opens up to her room.

Her room is decorated in such a way that it is fit for a princess. There is a unicorn shaped queen sized bed in the middle of her room. There are unicorn soft toys every where. Even the wall paper are unicorn themed. There is a writing table and a big, pink, wooden drawer as well as two chests of drawer at one side of the room. There are cushions of different colours on one corner of her room. Her room also have a few windows decorated with unicorn stickers and a door which opens up to a big balcony which overlooks the same view as mine.

"You must love unicorn very much," I commented.

"Yes, I do. I think they are magical animals. I wish I could meet a unicorn one day and I will ask it to fly me to heaven to see my daddy and mummy," said Bella.

It pierced my heart when I heard what she told me. At that very moment I told myself that I will protect this child with all my might and life.

"Would you like to help me unpacked?" I asked Belle.

"Yes! I would love to!" she squealed.

"I will leave both of you alone. I need to head back to the office. If you have any questions, you can asked the butler, Mr. Ng or the head of staff of this mansion, Mrs Lee. I believed both of them will be joining you shortly to introduce themselves,"said Ed.

"Alright. Thank you, Ed," I said.

Ed smiled and left both of us to unpacked.

After Ed left, both Mr. Ng and Mrs. Lee came into the room to introduced themselves. I saw them briefly at the entrance when I arrived.

Mr. Ng is in his fifties. He had white streaks of hair which he tried to keep out of view by gelling his hair back. He is very slim and tall. He has a fatherly face; friendly and caring. A man of few words; he does not speak much, only when it is necessary.

As for Mrs. Lee, she is short and plump with a round face. She is very friendly with a motherly face. Bella seemed to love her very much. Hanging on to her leg and giggling while Mrs. Lee was talking to me. Half way through our conversation, she picked Bella up and gave her a kiss on her face. From the look of her face I can tell that she loves Bella very much.

"Let's go down for lunch," said Mrs. Lee after she finished briefing me.

"You must be starving my little princess,"said Mrs. Lee to Bella while pinching her nose.

"Yummy! Did you cook my favourite sweet and sour chicken?" asked Bella hungrily.

"Yes, I did. Let's go," replied Mrs. Lee.

Both of them walked hand in hand out of the room and down the grand staircase. I followed behind with a smile on my face.
