This department store was indeed a good one although Hisaki was reluctant to admit to it.
"This is enough. Your mom would be happy to see these new clothes," Hisaki peered into the shopping bags held by Heisuke. The bags were quite bulky.
"I hope so," Heisuke's entire expression brightened up, "I haven't bought Mom anything nice recently. She can also wear these in winter."
Heisuke was happy because he could afford more good things now. He didn't have to worry about not having a decent meal just because he wished to buy a thick sweater or a pair of boots for his mother.
Being freed from the huge debt was really so helpful to him.
"Winter at our place isn't as cold as in other prefectures but, it's better to be careful," Hisaki agreed with Heisuke's view.
Both of them bought two sweaters, a coat and a pair of boots for Mrs. Saeki.
