The next day, as expected, Mr. Hokama and Mrs. Saeki brought the Chisaka spouses to the chrysanthemum festival.
Hisaki and Heisuke followed their parents. They were happier today as they had their wish fulfilled by the elders last night.
Mrs. Saeki assured Mrs. Chisaka that the Hokama family would agree with their children's request. The former planned to meet her parents-in-law after the Chisaka couple returned to their city.
"You're smiling too much, my wife," pointed Heisuke out, tenderness overflowing from his eyes.
"Aren't you the same?" replied Hisaki, laughing. The merry sound echoed softly in the air.
Right now, the lovebirds were sitting on a bench not far from where their parents were. The bench at the shrine yard could only sit four people at the same time thus, they chose to be on another one.
