The Person Who Lurked In Shadows
Shuuya and Aino retired to their bedroom after sending Heisuke and Hisaki off. The time was showing a quarter past nine. It was still early but, they planned to go to bed right now.
Because Aino always woke up in the middle of the night, whether from her legs cramping or being hungry, the husband and wife tended to try sleeping earlier than usual.
Aino sat on the bed while Shuuya gently massaged her feet inside a small tub filled with warm water.
It was a routine that was begun by Shuuya when Aino entered the second trimester. His mother gave him the advice, saying that it was extremely beneficial for a pregnant lady.
As a dutiful son and husband, Shuuya gladly performed the task without failure.
"Honey, have you talked to Heisuke? What did he say?" asked Aino while enjoying the service provided by her husband. She had to admit that this routine foot bath helped to ease her mood.
