Soon, the rainy season began. The usual clear blue sky was replaced by a dark one as the dense clouds gathered together.
The harsh wind was merciless, causing the gentle sea waves to become an erupting monster as they crashed heavily against the shore.
"It won't flood, right?"
Hisaki threw her eyes to the dark sky. It was raining non-stop since morning. A thick layer of mist blanketed the entire town.
"Just be careful," Heisuke answered without looking up. His attention was on the book in front of him, "There's no flood warning so far. Hope the rain would cease soon."
Hisaki hummed gently. She returned her focus to her own reading.
Today was Saturday, her official day off including tomorrow.
Because Heisuke's shift was at the midnight, Hisaki came to his apartment for their study session after lunchtime. Mrs. Saeki was still at the inn, leaving them alone together.
