Following Hisaki's advice, Heisuke asked Mrs. Saeki out this coming Saturday. This invitation confused his mother because it was something that he never did.
Under Mrs. Saeki's intense stare, Heisuke awkwardly explained, "...I got a bonus this month. My supervisor said it's because of my good performance so... I want to invite you out, Mom."
Although Mrs. Saeki was baffled by her son's action, it didn't mean that she was not delighted.
"Hurm... alright. Mom is free this weekend. When should we go? Have you told Hisaki?"
As if it was a given, Mrs. Saeki inadvertently thought of her future daughter-in-law. Her mind already conjured the image of the three of them going for an outing together.
"Hisaki won't come. She told me to just... enjoy the time with you," admitted Heisuke without hiding anything.
Mrs. Saeki was surprised once again. She kept asking Heisuke if it was true. She didn't want to upset Hisaki by only going out alone with her son.
