Thirst

"Ada~ Ada~" I keep calling her name and poking her cheek. She seems upset at me but I don't know why. She doesn't want to answer me so I will keep doing this. "I'm thirsty Ada. Go buy me some juice hehe. You will, right? Right, Ada~? I don't want to waste the water I just drank. Be quick, ok? I don't want to die of thirst~."

Ada looked at me with wide eyes. "Do you want to drink the ocean? Where all that water goes? I know about people who can eat nonstop but you?! You!..." "Me? I would drink the ocean if it wasn't all salty. Even if I drink the ocean, I think I would still need more water." Ada dropped her arms. "Fine! I'll buy that juice." She stomped her feet and walked away.

I looked around and saw a girl who was looking at me. 'Oh, is she interested in being my friend? She looks cute… Well not as cute as my crush. My crush is the cutest, sexiest and most beautiful girl. Should I say hi? Then introduce myself? The girl's face got pale. I took a step closer to her.' "Hi there. You are now my new friend. I'm Calla, you?"

I wrapped my arm around her shoulders so she wouldn't escape and gave her a grin. My black hair brushed against the girl's shoulder. I should cut them, they seem too long and have unpredictable movement. "A-Adri?... Madonna?…" She said in a weak and scared voice.

"Huh? Your name is Madonna Adri? Then I'll call you Adri. Madonna is too long and don't even think about me saying both names." "H-Help-" "Help? With what? School homework? No way. "I'm sorry Adri girl but I didn't mean to become your friend so let me rephrase it. Carla, You are my friend now. Not this Adri. I'm sorry for making you sad by calling you the wrong name but you gave me the wrong one. Were you so excited that you forgot your name? You can stop hiding now and come drink juice with me. Ada should be back. I told her to be quick."

I have an objective to make a friend every school year… Why? It sounds fun choosing who to be my next friend and this year I will add Carla! I'm sorry Ada, I love you but my love is too big for only one person.

Ada sneezed and cursed Calla because she knew she was talking about her behind her back. She wondered if Calla was calling her slow. Ada muttered. "I will make this a new record." Some people gave her a look of pity while she was running for her life towards the spot Calla was at.

Well my best wasn't enough because I couldn't dodge the slash that was aimed at my chest. Blood splashed on the floor. It was my blood. Now I will be more thirsty because I'm losing all my hard work. This is so sad. The blood dripped off Adri's long nails... Beautiful. Well not as beautiful as Vira, my super beautiful and lovely crush. Adri's system looks nice. Everyone's system is nice. Ah my uniform is broken and I'll be dead if Ada doesn't hurry. Why am I so weak? Oh poor me, I will die. Ada hurry up, I'm dying. Dying of thirst.

When you summon the devil, the devil comes. Ada kept dashing and bumped into Adri. I guess she didn't look where she was going. She's so cute. I was just covering my bloody chest while looking at Ada. More exactly, at the juice bottle."Juiiicccceeeeeee" Ada who fell over Adri turned her head towards me. "Is that all you have to say where is the thanks- BLOOD. OMG BLOOD." She jumped off Adri and jogged towards me looking all panicked. "I'm thirsty. I want juice." I saw tears in Adri's eyes. "Give me juice or I will die." I said that with a blank expression with my hand reaching out towards the bottle. My hand was bloody.

Adri didn't know how to react. I saw the hesitation in her movements. "Oh I'm dying. You were so slow that I'm dying." I flopped to the ground. Adri's mouth opened and closed. She was shocked at my acting and was about to punch me. I saw her fist clench ready to hit me. I will get bullied. By my own friend at that. Such sadness. She doesn't want to give me juice and wants to see me die… Well she IS watching me die. Meanwhile Adri just stared dumbfoundedly at us. "Help me Carla. Ada is so slow, I'm dying of thirst. She doesn't want to save me so you have to save me."

Ada opened the juice box in one go and spilled the juice on my face because she clenched the bottle too hard. "What… My juice…" "Oh.." She didn't even look like she cared for my poor juice. She choked it to death and didn't let me drink any. Oh wait. I licked my lips trying to get the little juice that fell but to no avail, it wasn't enough. The betrayal I felt. My heart ached and I felt so weak. I couldn't help but close my eyes because of the lack of juice in my body. "She's acting right?" Adri asked with her claws still out. She slowly approached me but I didn't move.

"Don't hurt her anymore. She's weak!" Ada slapped Adri's hand before she could reach my cheek. Adda looked around but there was no one except the 3 girls. "What nonsense are you saying? She bullied you for over a year, forcing you to run errands all over the school and treat you like trash. Everyone knows that. Plus, who hasn't heard the evil laugh she is giving each time you give her water. You call that weak? Does she have a brainwashing system?! You are brainwashed! Snap out of it!"

Adri was about to grab Ada but Carla came in front. "D-Don't hurt her anymore. C-Calla is not bad." Madonna nodded. Adri looked dumbfoundedly at her two friends. "Carla? Madonna? I should buy her lots of delicious food. I will bow down when she wakes up and apologize." Adri started running to the nurse's office while screaming. "I'm sorry!!!"
