One-Stop-Paradise
Mei Deng huffed when the vendor had finally paid him some attention, he begrudgingly reached for his pouch, wrapped around his waist. Only for him to tilt his head and realize Da-Xia had stopped holding onto him.
"Da-Xia?" He looked around but could not catch sight of her.
"Are you paying or not?! I have customers waiting..." The vendor's crude voice snapped Mei Deng out of his thoughts. Without sparing a second he ran through the crowd like a possessed man, looking here and there for the little girl.
"Da-Xia! Where are you?" At everywhere he looked, there were street dancers and food vendors, making the street crowded. In such a large crowd, there was no way a reckless parent wouldn't lose sight of their child.
"I have to report this now!" He thought, dashing for a group of women to ask for directions to the Prefect's office. However, when we walked up to them, he happened to walk in, they barely paid him any attention.
