"I want a divorce from this sham marriage that never happened between us," Amelia said dryly, her words dripping with venom.
"A divorce!" Jerry replied half shocked, his eyes widened like a saucer.
"You heard me right, Jerry." Amelia spat out.
"You can't be serious Amelia," Jerry said, glaring at her.
"Why? Aren't you happy that I'm finally setting you free to go be with your little whore of a mistress?" Amelia asked mockingly, her steely gaze laced with unfathomable fury. "You should be telling me thank you. At least now you won't have to hide while f**king her."
Jerry's face contoured like a rumpled paper, his narrowed eyes darkened and his fist clenched at Amelia's words.
"You better watch your tongue, Amelia." He warned taking one step closer toward her. "You may be the daughter of a senator but you are still my wife. I won't have you insult me or your sister who has sacrificed so much for you."
