CHAPTER 66 The Girl's Origin
Amber's POV
"Excuse me? You are not taking our girls anywhere, Oblong. They are our daughters. We adopted them when they came here with me from Kere's world." I answer, trying my hardest to keep myself, my wolf and my mates calm at the same time. Both Chase and Blaze are going into overprotective daddy mode, and the last thing we need right now is another battle with crazy family members, however distant.
"I must insist, Queen Amber. They belong with us. They are our kin, and we are not leaving without them." The crowd behind him murmurs their agreement.
"Why now?" Chase asks from my right side. I look at him, and I see Calor is just under the surface, ready to defend his kids if necessary. I know, without looking to my left, the same thing goes for Loch and Blaze. Ignis is growling in my head at the threat at hand, but I shush her. We need to be diplomatic about this.
