This will just be my beginning
I equipped all my items in terms of combat size also matters, i might be big but i have a disadvantage, rats are weak to fire, but they move fast, i threw a fireball at the one closest to me, but it seems that it had no effect at all.
As i look closely it seems that the outer layer is covered in mucus along with poison, i used ice control and made the temperature drop by 1 Celsius.
I can't use spells properly, so i have to use my sword, i did an overhead slash and they quickly dispersed, and i only killed one.
The rat Kings seem to be working together, but it's hard to tell which is the rat King, the humanoid rats dispersed and created a circle around me.
I tried jumping out but i was too slow and the circle already formed, damn it! I got caught in a rat prison.
A tactic used by rats to kill single target units, i see a barrel outside the circle. Thankfully the rat circle will move along with you, to try to lead you to their lair.
I moved a few steps towards the barrel and i immediately heard a large squeek, it was a warning so i immediately ran towards it and stabbed the top of the barrel.
Thankfully there was alcohol inside, i casted fireball on my sword and it burst in flames, then i spun myself around.
I killed dozens of them with the sword, and the abilities of my boots seem to melt a bit of the rat's skin.
Then the circle was broken and the rats retreated, and starting to form a giant form, the desperate attack of rat Kings.
I saw empty bottles near me so i grabbed a couple, and filled them with alcohol, then the rats screeched in unison, forming an ogre.
I threw it at them and they ate it, then i grabbed another and created a spark of fire inside the bottle and then I threw it at them and it exploded, the rats were screeching in pain.

Some of them ran away to a hole leading outside the bar, so this was the reason of the rat invasion event. 1 month after this mission was completed, millions of rats invaded the city of beginning, which destroyed 90% of the city. The rat slayers came back from and retirement to save the city, if it wasn't for them the city would've been destroyed, like the city i spawned in.
I walked upstairs and looked at the bartender and said "it's done!" then he signalled me to follow him, he pulled a type of alcohol bottle and the floor below the bartender and next to him started to sink.
Then a fake floor slowly appeared above us, after going downwards 50 feet, then in front of me is an armor stand, a smithing area, alchemy area, and even a shelf of skill books!
Skill books are pretty much the rarest in this world, but i never really minded them, most things i do are mainly make weapons, alchemy, and cook food.
Afterall some skills in this game mainly come from Daily life, cooking, mechanics, craftsmanship, alchemy, and many more.
The bartender looked at me and said "my name is kirin, if you ever need anything you can just come to me"
Then the window appeared and said "quest completed +10 relationship with kirin the bartender"
I took the armor set in front of me, although it's called the rat slayer outfit, it's not actually made of rats but in fact it's a type of metal called belizium that's a type of backfire any type of low level magic.

It seems that it works on all types of small pests, not rats only. This set effects is amazing, but sadly there are some bad sides, you can't receive buffs or healing as it doesn't discriminate between
good or bad.
I wore the armor and walked towards the smithing area and see that there are still some belizium remaining. So i took it and put it in my inventory, belizium is a cancelled type of ore, and it's extremely rare right now.
The only people who can make this kind of material is... Dead, and the recipes we're hunted down but they were split into 50 pieces all around the continent.
I looked at kirin and said "let's go back up" then we floated upwards, after reaching the main floor kirin said "don't forget to visit sometime" then i left the bar and headed off to the adventurers guild, getting missions always start there.
But while walking i saw something that caught my eye, a slave. Slaves in this world are pretty normal, but this slave however wished to become a hero, then she was saved by one.
Her master died protecting her from a demon then she started roaming the land, getting stronger, and wanting revenge and became a hero. She finally got her chance for revenge, yet she fell and became a slave once more...
The hero then became insane, a person with a broken mind, in fact she became one of the four villains who stood beside the main demon as an ally. If i can save her right now... Everything will change!
