Sometime's, the best solution is retreating

I arrived at the wall and saw the army coming, i was extremely shocked and scared that what we were fighting were... An entire army of goblisn, probably about a million!

Although goblins are one of the weakest monsters their one of the smartest and cruelest, i was broken in thought by an explosion and scream behind the walls and what i saw was a goblin hole, not just any ordinary hole but a hole that can swallow an entire house whole, then hordes of goblins came pouring in. Then every guard, mercenary, adventurer available stationed at this wall was killed from from enemy archer fire.

And others were focused on the hole and goblins inside, and the commander was no where to be found. Neither dead or alive, i used a ballista nearby and aimed at what seemed like goblin chieftains, i killed a couple but several arrows flew and aimed at me which forced me to stop. Goblins are normally level 5, goblin champions are 20, chieftains 40, and commander 50. But somehow all of them are twice the level!

Everyone is dead due to the massive horde, so i was forced to retreat. But the problem was since everyone is dead all the goblins are after me the only one alive, so i equipped all the stuff i can and ran away like hell!

The guards i healed were about level 70 and the commander was level 100, but they still lost and only killed a portion of their numbers. I used ice control and created a path to the other side of the wall where there are no goblins.

due to my low level the ice melt in a few seconds but its also helpful for me since no goblins would follow me from behind, but after a few steps i took in the ice path weapons flew in my path not only destroying it but also damaging me when i walk through it. So i created another path and switched sides, i created more paths and kept switching paths every step, but the goblins already did a counter measure and destroyed the paths that even i am not in.

I am only halfway through and my mana is almost out, so i jumped and travelled on the rooftops, so goblins started to climb the buildings and many of them are in my way.

a single goblin was in a rooftop in front of me so i took a bow and drew an arrow and fired at him, but somehow he caught it, then i fired 3 arrow simultaneously and he used his dagger to cut them up as if they were straw.

Then he started to laugh and jumped towards me, i drew an arrow and fired and he caught it again but the moment he caught it i casted fireball at him and killed him.

Then i continued to escape i was almost at the exit when a goblin champion appeared and swung his stone hammer at me and intended to put me in the ground 5 meters below. I used all my mana to cast fireball to counter his swing and it also burned him, i also kicked his balls which made him flinch. (ooooooohhh -goblin)

Then i arrived at the other side of the walls and jumped outside the walls. 'Then i ran away from the castle into the dark forest and i checked out status, i gained 3 levels from the ones i killed, after a few hours i started to feel hungry so i ate a piece of bread i got from the city and started to walk, but suddenly the quest window appeared...

It said "you have failed the quest and resulting in penalty..." then the penalties and rewards appeared i can only see what i could've gotten if i completed the mission it seems i would've unlocked a hidden class called the legendary monster slayer and an achievement called benefits of war and a class change token. And then the penalties appeared... Well it wasn't much but I'll take it.

"teleport to the city of beginning and restart" so i guess it was meant for players above level 300, and an entire guild with 500 members nonetheless.

For now i didn't equip anything because fallen angels don't spawn in places like this, fallen angels look a lot like humans so npcs and players won't get suspicious.

If you selected human as your race, you would've gotten gold and nothing else. So i went into a bar for another hidden mission, the bar was pretty abandoned but in the past, this would turn into the best bars in the game. The bartender is a halfling, half orc and half elf, although there are different types of halflings, this is type of halfling is great for alcohol making, the sense of smell of the orcs, and the eyes of the elves.

I entered the bar and said "that time i killed hundreds of rats" then the bar keeper said "for they not deserve to eat and destroy that they sickness and death." then i replied "in my holy blade i shall exterminate." then we both said in unison "for they deserve what they have brought!" it is a saying of the slayer's creed.

before darkness fell on to this world rat slayer's were very popular because rats were the most dangerous monsters in the past. Now they are lost in history, made fun of because they slay rats.

These are the details from an achievement called rat slayer which also gave the creed. The bar keeper said "there are dozens of rats in the cellar below, I'm too old for this job, these rats have been ruining my business so please deal with them, you don't seem to have much gear on yah, I'll give you my items if you help me.

Then the quest window appeared reward is the legendary rat slayer set, and penalty is monsters will target me first for 1 week if I fail. So i did the only logical thing to do when your a beginner... Accept the mission, rats are pretty much the weakest of monsters but they are dangerous in numbers, due to their size their brains are small and act like normal rats.

I went down the cellar and there were not much rats in there, i couldn't even see a single one, then i heard a noise behind me so i quickly turned around... And i saw were hundreds of rats,but they were different...

They formed together and there were 3 humanoid combined rats, the only way this could've happened is if there was a rat King... But even with a rat King there should only be one, so that means... I'm fighting three rat Kings, and to make it harder, they seem to be smarter than the average rat King, at most these three can rival the goblin champion i escaped from...
