"Multiple attempts to charge through the boundary were halted by the LSP and although victorious, they have paid the price in numerous human lives."
A cracked wall was displayed on the tv screen. The wall was ginormous towering over most structures built on the ground. Powerful and yet close to collapsing under the repeated barrages from the Sins.
Just outside the walls were ruins of what once was the barracks of the Last Standing Powereds. Strewn along the ground were corpses all mangled and torn.
Sicarius had never seen a Sin before but it was easy to differentiate them from the corpses. The oozing black liquid from their pale-skinned torn limbs was a clear marker. Multiple corpses leaked that black liquid, it came from monsters that had varying horrid figures and from humans who have been corrupted by Sins.
The father was focused on the tv, the mother was clasping her hands against her mouth before turning to see Sicarius. Quickly, she changed the channel.
"Hey!" The father said but as soon as he saw Sicarius he shut his mouth.
Sicarius was four years old now. He can now move on his own two legs which he started to train as soon as he can.
The situation on Earth was dire for humans. The Sins had taken over two continents along the west and they have started their invasion on the remaining human continents. It mattered to Sicarius as he was still weak and can't defend himself against sins. Once he gains the power to kill the population it didn't really matter who won in the end. They will all die at his hand anyway.
Seeing that Sicarius stood there staring at the tv with no reaction whatsoever. The mother paced towards him and hugged him.
"It's okay dear." She said,
Sicarius didn't look like he needed any comfort, in fact, he never did look like he needed anything, and yet here was his mother sad in his place, as if they failed him by being careless enough to let him see mutilated corpses on the TV.
Sicarius sighed as he let Agatha, his mother in this world, comfort him.
In the past few years, he's lived this life he had learned lots of things about the behavior of humans, the name of his parents, the history of Earth from several sources such as the TV or books from his Father's library and lastly the knowledge that mattered the most; Human powers.
Sicarius retracted from his mother's embrace and simply walked away, not uttering a word. It was time for more training.
"Why did you put it in that channel, Hanzel!?" Sicarius heard as he stepped into his room.
His parents were at status 1 capable of killing 10 Sins. The mother, Agatha Gray's power was the Conqueror's Domain, while her husband Hanzel Gray had the ability to amplify his own physical capabilities.
They were weak but Hanzel was capable enough to be the commander of the City of Angel's police force, While Agatha was a teacher of power control for youths who have awakened their abilities.
The classifications of Human power is labeled as status, ranging from the weakest; status 0 to the strongest status 8.
A status 0 can kill one regular Sin and a status 8 can kill a world's population of Sin.
As of now his powers were dormant but Sicarius was confident that whatever status of power he may have, he will be the strongest as he had always been.
The threat of Sins was a real one. He can not rest for a day. The walls stand strong for now but will it last until he is fully matured?
He had to gain power fast.
Short limbs, but filled with strength. Each muscle moved in sync as Sicarius exerted himself physically. All those thousands of years of rebirth, all that time being spent as a baby. He knew how to make himself get stronger efficiently, may it be in the domain of the physical realm or the mental realm.
One punch forward. Clean, fast, and efficient.
One quick stomp to the ground, followed by rapid punches in the places where an adult leg's vital points would be. It didn't matter what age he was, he would always strike wherever it hurts the most.
This was of course due to his experience. He had thousands of years of various martial art mastery and he knew how to completely assimilate them with each other, allowing him to fight opponents of any kind efficiently.
If he was to fight a person of equal strength to him, there was no doubt that he could end the battle in mere seconds.
One last kick to the heavens.
Then hold. Let his legs shiver in the air.
Stand. Relax your stance and let your breathing stabilize. Any more movement and your four year old body will collapse.
Sicarius merely rested for a few minutes before resuming his training.
Train, train, train, learn, train.
A year passed, then two, with Sicarius doing nothing but train.
There was nothing more important to Sicarius than bettering himself to his maximum potential. If he wasn't training he was learning human information such as equations, language, philosophy, politics, economy, and military war tactics. All kinds of topics he learned endlessly. Omniscience is the next best thing to being Omnipotent.
Sadly, he could only do so much with sheer exercise and mental training. He needed facilities to help him exercise, he needed a library with a higher capacity to help him learn more, and he needed various pills and elixirs that may increase his improvements efficiency.
He needed to go to a school. One that fits his criteria and the only school that does is the Last Hope. As one could have guessed it's a school managed by LSP themselves. Needless to say, the requirements to enter will be strict and high, as can be expected from a school that had teachers fresh from the battlefield.
Entering will be hard, at least, it would be if your mother wasn't part of the teaching staff.
All he had to do was stick to his mom no matter what when she goes to work.
