Chapter Twenty-five – Venice

Ramon took her hand and led her back around the tables in search of Palo. He had told her that he at least needed to let the man know they were leaving. Ramon saw him on the floor and Jeanette watched the two men as they spoke in low tones so that she wasn't able to hear, not that she wanted too. The look on Palo's face said he was aware they had gone off somewhere and Jeanette had no shame about that.

Her thighs were still on fire from having Ramon between them and she still could vividly taste him on her tongue. And there was just no way that she could think badly of this night, ever. It was more amazing to her then just being mind blowing in the sex area. No one had ever made her feel so wanted or so desired and she feared that she wouldn't feel that again either. Not that she wanted to think about leaving, but she couldn't stop the thoughts; she knew she was leaving in five days and that hurt on way too many levels.

"Ready?" Jeanette blinked as Ramon stepped up to her. She smiled and waved to Palo and then nodded at Ramon who took her hand and led her to the awaiting car. He helped her in and followed her, and pulled her to his side once they were in.

"I know it was a short trip, but did you enjoy it?" Jeanette smirked as she looked up at him.

"What was not to enjoy?" He chuckled as his hand lightly rubbed her arm and side.

"I guess that would be true. I am sorry I could not show you more."

"Ramon, you have done more than enough for me! You have shown me many things and even though it was brief, I saw the beauty of Athens. No, don't worry; you have done more than I would have thought of."

"Then I am glad." He gave her another smile as the car pulled up to the hotel. He got out and then offered her his hand to help her out. They silently rode the elevator to the floor and then walked to their suite, it dawning on her that this was the first night they would share a bed for the whole night, for Ramon couldn't sneak away.

"Um," she started but stopped, not sure how to phrase the question as she followed Ramon into the room and watched as he passed by the bed and kicked off his shoes.

      "What is it?"

"Do…um…do you prefer…a side?" Ramon glanced at her from unbuttoning his vest, a smirk playing at his lips. He took it off and tossed it on the chair.

"I have never slept in the same bed with a woman, Jeanette, so, I cannot say I take a side." Jeanette blushed as she realized she thought wrong.

"Oh, you can take the bed, I can…." Before any more words could leave her mouth, Ramon was before her, a finger over her lips.

"No, we are sharing the bed. A shirt is in the bathroom for you to change into. And I would very much like to feel you in my arms."

20 minutes later, once her makeup was removed and her hair brushed out did she come out of the bathroom and slide into the bed with the devilishly handsome man. He smiled as he held the covers up and she moved close to him. Ramon dropped his arm and the covers and then wrapped his arm around her.

      "We leave pretty early, right?"

"We do. And then you need to go pack because I am taking you away for the weekend."

"What? Where are you taking me now?" She sat up and stared at him as he just chuckled.

"You cannot come to Italy and not see the beauty that is Venice." Her jaw dropped as she looked at him. Of course Venice was a spot she had wanted to go to but when she looked at a map and saw where it was located and how much a plane ride would cost, it became a firm no to her.

"For real, you are taking me to Venice? Ramon, that is too much!"

"Nonsense. I have a helicopter rented to take us to the airport and a boat ready to take us to The St. Regis hotel; it is one where a room is always to be ready for me. Then we will be back Sunday in enough time to go to my parents for dinner." Crap, she had totally forgotten about that. Although, with everything going on and how busy he had kept her, it was no wonder it slipped her mind. "Sleep, cara mia, you need it." She let you a sigh and curled back up to him again, her mind still not processing but at least stopping enough to let her sleep.

-----

Jeanette's eyes couldn't stop moving as she tried to look at everything through the helicopter window. The landscape was so beautiful and she knew she would miss it. And when they made their decent into Venice and she saw all the water and then the beauty of the buildings, her jaw dropped even more. And though she felt Ramon spent way too much for all of this, she would be so forever grateful for she knew she would be kicking her own ass for having missed seeing this.

Within minutes, they were out of the helicopter and into a gondola and heading down the Grand Canal to get to the luxury hotel. Oh yeah, when Jeanette got back to her room to pack and to take a moment to breathe, she looked up the hotel she would be staying at for the next two days. Shell shocked would be the best word to use when she saw how gorgeous it was and the views that the suites offered with their private terraces. She was thankful that Ramon had gotten her a new SD card for her camera; for hers was full and she had no time to download her photos to her computer.

"It's so beautiful," she told the man who was sitting next to her.

"Venice is where my mom is from, so we come back here a lot. Of course, it is a huge tourist spot so we try to avoid certain areas." Yeah, that was something she had longed picked up on with this man. Ramon let the conversation die just to allow Jeanette to take in the sights and she did. And when they stopped before the hotel, she let out a low whistle.

"You do realize, Ramon that you are making me feel like some royalty here when I am not." He did nothing but laugh as he helped her out and walked into the hotel. And she paused, her gaze locking on the gorgeous chandelier in the walkway that was reflecting the natural light; that piece alone screamed opulence and wealth, and of course, prestige. There was no mistaking that this place made her feel well beyond her means.

Finally, Ramon cleared his throat and got her attention. She walked back to his side as he spoke to the man at the front desk. Their Italian was fast and Jeanette quickly gave up trying to understand what was being said, not that she knew many words as it was.

"What were you talking about?" she asked Ramon as he led her to the elevators.

"That we wish not to be disturbed for the next two days and to make sure the room next to ours was not booked the rest of our stay." Her brows wrinkled as they continued their climb.

"Why would you request such a thing?"

"Because, cara mia, this whole trip is for you to enjoy Venice and for me to seduce you. And I cannot have my way with you in all the ways I see fit if there are people on the terrace next to us and watching us."
