"Clement Atkins?"

Clement Atkins was raised by Sterling, who was a lawyer for the Garrison Family before he passed away.

The brooch that Rae Bennett clenched in her hand, the one given to her by Wyatt Wright, had already pierced Clement's neck.

"It's me, Clement Atkins."

He didn't struggle or resist at all, nor did he mind the brooch still sticking into his neck, and he reached up to remove the black cloth covering Rae's head.

The light was so intense it made her squint. She stepped back to keep her distance, unafraid of the harsh light, confronting Clement head-on.

"Why are you here?"

The brooch still in her hand was bloodied at its sharp tip, pointed at Clement.

She didn't wait for his reply, bombarding him with questions.

"What's your relation to the kidnapper?"

"Did you orchestrate this?"

"What's your intention?"

She didn't trust him.

How could she trust him when they were enemies, separated by a blood feud?
