Opening back up onto the perspective of the monarchs that stayed back along with Dr. Gaster. They sat within a room that had many screens in it.
"Dr Gaster, are you almost finished? It seems everything has been going well, but i'm curious to see it myself." Axis would have stated as he had a face of curiosity looking at all of the screens now.
"One moment your majesty, the screens are almost up." Gaster would have said this as he would put some last bit of wires together and tapped a button on the desk which was below all the monitors. All their eyes would have fixed themselves on the screens as they flickered and flashed to light. Displayed on the screens would be various different views coming from cameras, each of the cameras would be from the secret people that the monarchs had put out to make sure that everything was going well in society, like undercover cops if you'd like a comparison to put it out. Looking through the screens they would have all seemed pleased as they saw that everything was going smoothly, they were just blending in with normal life and nobody was encountering any problems.
All three would turn away from the screens and slide their chairs into a separate table to continue just chatting now that their systems were all up at the same time. Everyone would have grown relaxed at the table now. Toriel would then make an inquiry. "Gaster, you're all healed up now right?" He would respond with a nod. Toriel would've smiled at that response glad for his safety. She would hold her head up now with the back of her hands and her elbows on the table pondering a question. "Do you think you could try to recreate the core? A better one on the surface. It popped into my mind not too long ago and I can only imagine what something like that could do for us. It would make everyone's life so much better." Toriel would say with a hopeful gleam daunting in her eyes looking at Gaster for her request. Though before Gaster would respond Axis gave a confused expression and slowly said "the core…?" Gaster would slightly chuckle as it seemed the king had been oblivious towards the full workings of the underground. "Well your highness." Axis would stop him with a hand. "Just Axis is fine." Gaster would pause and then continue. "Well Axis the Core is an extremely powerful generator that powered the underground with magical electricity, the thing had beyond infinite energy coming through it, and other unknown things about it even to I. Though at the time I couldn't exactly make it strong enough to break the barrier as intended, I think with what I know now, I could perfect it and even make it as good as I imagined if not better." Gaster would look at the both of them with a confident expression on his face as he believed in his prowess from the time in the void. Axis would have his own inquiries after Gaster explained. "Really something like that? Well with the way tech is going it doesn't seem impossible, but at the same time how did you find out how to do something like that so long ago. Oh, but I believe you should hold off on making a power source like that for now. Imagine if some of 'those' people are still around, they may use that power to take us down." Gaster would have nodded his head in agreement to the last comment, he was displeased, but at the same time the king proved sensible with his judgment. "Well not to belittle your intelligence Axis, but I do believe that it would be quite hard to explain it to you in a way that makes sense. It took me quite a long time to understand myself, but it has several different sources of energy that makes it so powerful. It is powered by absorbing magic and it spits it back out with a vastly higher amount. I also made a secondary power source with my finding of the void's existence. It got power from the powerful dark energy that emanated from the void, and the final source was that of the natural potential and kinetic energy that is generated within the universe." Axis would lean back in his chair absorbing all of that, well he definitely just knew that this Gaster guy was indeed rather smart, and he was just glad he was on their side. "Enough of all that science talk now why don't we go join everyone at the park, it would be quite nice to not deal with stressful things now." Toriel would suggest, and both of the men would agree finding it would be nice at the time. Although funnily enough when they get there almost everyone else has left.. and something else happened too.
Back within the park the old man Gereson would have been walking around with some kid aiming to try and find the little girl's cat that she was looking for. The search had started and the turtle was in the car and wouldn't stop till the car was found. After scanning the rather vast and wondrous park within its entirety, within every tree, bush nook and cranny. The cat had been nowhere to be found. Gereson put a hand to his beard stroking it wondering where this car would have gone, the thoughts of his only interrupted when the little girl would start crying "M-mr turtle is my cat gone! She's my best friend. I can't lose her." Gereson would have a more focused face on as he heard the cries of the girl. The turtle would have turned towards the girl and placed a hand on their head rubbing it. He would offer the kid a lollipop to try and calm them down as well. The kid would take it and sucked on it, seeming to calm down. "Now, we'll find her, don't worry at all. This old turtle has got some good senses, now follow me." Gereson stepped out from the park with the girl following him, he would focus his senses as he moved out from the park and would explore the greater parts of Ebott in a close by vicinity. That's when the old turtle would have felt the aura of a seemingly distraught cat and some people around it? He would carefully advance towards this location knowing that this could very well be the cat of the girl's and gladly when they entered into the alleyway that the turtle had sensed the cat to be, the cat was there. Strangely to Gereson though that kept him on his toes in the moment was due to the fact he could've sworn he felt other people there, if it was a problem would deal with it. The turtle pointed towards the cat and was turning back to the girl. "There she is little on-"
Gereson would have his eyes widened as the little girl was now pointing a highly powerful magical pistol right towards his dome. Gereson would clench his hands.. he had some sort of idea what was going o. now, those people he sensed from before were probably.. Gereson would turn his head only to see others pointing guns towards him, he turned his head back to the kid raising his hands in the air. "So is it time to put this old man down eh? Glad I atleast found you your cat." Even if the cat wasn't really lost he was still glad for what he did. Gereson would try and quell his emotion, he couldn't bring himself to hurt a kid, or something that looked like one so of course he wouldn't, Gereson had a plan in mind complete now as a curious smirk grew on the turtle's face. "Before you shoot me can you atleast tell me what's going on." The little girl would then speak seeming to have a more mature voice than before. "Mr. Gereson, the hammer of justice. We're going to ask you to join us, the people who attacked you guys before. Now before you interrupt me, I know your answer will probably be no, so let me tell you everything. If you join you'll be spared in the conversion of the world into the vision of the bosses. We just need to take over Ebott and Japan and practically everything else will fall easily. If you accept you'll be able to create a more peaceful and safer world like you wanted." Gereson would only laugh after hearing the full thing coming from the girl as he wiped away a tear from it. Though his face suddenly got serious looking at them. "It's funny you think i'd agree to join you, no matter your endgoal kid, you're doing horrible. This old man's gonna take a stand."
With a swift motion defying the age of the turtle and what you'd expect from a turtle itself Gereson would swiftly and smoothly smack the gun out of the hand of the apparent little girl before she could even fire the weapon, he was a warrior of old and he'd show all of his experience. Gereson would quickly jump forward tackling the little girl and rolling with her as he would be fired at from all directions using his shell to protect him as he laid flat on the ground. Gereson would touch on a pressure point around the neck of the girl forcing them to be knocked out as he would slide their body away. Gereson would suddenly rotate inside of his shell which was just reflecting all of the bullets rained down on him. "Not gonna be that easy whippersnappers." With a flash Gereson would bounce around after spinning sending gusts of wind in his wake with a ferocious power of a tornado, but to a less destructive degree that pushed down even the mightiest of soldiers trying to stop the the turtle in his path. He would pop out of his shell and toon a look around at all the fallen soldiers, but it seemed they had some more kick in them as the blown away enemies would rise once more from their fall and it seemed they had some grit in them, yet none to surpass the flame that was lit in the eye of the hammer of justice.
Gereson would summon a mighty double sided war-hammer. And with this in hand he would aim to quickly deal with the remaining combatants, yet there was more than just that as the turtle would have stretched his hand outwards as well as green waves of energy moved out like sound waves, yet far faster than even a ray. The waves were strange for anyone looking at them, they seemed to lag behind where they actually were making it look like they hit before they actually did the "slow wave." Yet it had another reason for being called that. The waves managed to truck even the trained enemies as they had not the perception or understanding to combat such a spell. Yet it seemed to not do much damage just blasting them backwards slightly. The assailants all went to press the trigger on Gereson, but they found that their drawing was extremely slow, almost to a standstill. "Slow and steady wins the race, but don't you think that's a bit too slow?" Gereson would make a comment before rushing down each of them and smashing them each with a hammer in concise and swift movements showing his skull and elegance as a fighter that seemed not to turn to waste after all the years. With that one motion he aimed to knock out all of the opponents. "Stupid kids." He would say with a huff in his breath shaking his head at all of them. Yet the moment he said this there was a sudden whoosh in the air, Gereson would turn his head as he heard a beep and his eyes would open in shock as he was met with the sight of an explosive the explosive went off instantly as it was only a blur of light with its speed and power.
Yet Gereson had managed to avoid taking the full blast even at point blank range proving to be a fighter great at reactionary movement even from such a range. He ran to the end of the alleyway, as the other way would be towards the explosive. He was not unscathed as his shell was partially chipped, he would grunt holding in the pain he felt… that explosion was strong. The force of it was enough to wipe out Ebott or maybe more! It was a good thing they decided to condense the explosives into such small ones, but there was something strange Gereson noticed. There was a dark soul presence around the explosive which gave it even more power… and made the air just disgusting from it even worse than it usually would be. Gereson felt sick and it was hard to breathe, it was so putrid. He would let out a cough and wipe his eyes, when he did he would peer into the smoke seeing a figure walk through it, the figure suddenly accelerated as they went and punched Gereson right in the face would have slid his head to the side making the punch partially slide off of his head reducing its effect, the turtle quickly aimed to counter covering his arm in the green waves he used before. With his arm covered in these he would have punched them right in one of their shoulders with the explosive force of the waves pushing them into a wall. The person would seem to slowly and very slowly get out of the crater that they were in within the wall only utilizing one arm with the other one being disabled from the punch. Gereson would have looked at them with a quenched breath, he couldn't inhale and had to hold his breath as the stuff in the air was no good for him, probably why that person had some sort of mask on them. It seemed after some time the person had regained their speed finally and rushed at Gereson with a dark aura around them, Gereson would have turned his back to them when they had gotten close to try and block their attack, then there was nothing. Gereson would be confused for a moment until his senses would have spiked as he looked upwards only to see the person directly over him. Suddenly a black flash of power would impact Gereson hitting him to the ground, The blow made him have to suddenly gasp for air filling him with the substance making him feel weak and barely able to stay conscious.
Despite this the turtle moved on. Gereson stood from the ground with an aura about him riddled with danger. "You managed to give me a little bruise, i'll give you that, but that's all." Gereson would say not needing to worry about conserving his breath anymore as it was already overtaken, he had little time, but that's all he needed. Without being able to even see the face of the for he was talking to he could simply sense the shock of them due to him still kicking after that. The masked person would suddenly get a grip as their fists would be clenched with malice and impatience. The opponent would toss a blast of the black energy onto the wall next to Gereson causing it to explode as bricks were dispersed onto Gereson. Gereson would act swiftly and his hammer came back out which he would use to smack the bricks back to the masked foe reflecting them against them. The Masked foe punched the bricks and kicked at them effortlessly breaking them, as the last brick was broken the masked man would see the sight of Gereson drop kicking him right in the face using the bricks as a cover for it pushing away the masked man and cracking the mask of theirs slightly. Gereson would get to his feet with the idea to simply break their mask to make them go down with him. Gereson tossed his hammer towards them spinning around horizontally taking up a lot of the space in the alleyway, it would graze the mask of the man as they barely got out of the way. The masked man would then jump from wall to wall using it to make confusing movements around the alleyway. With their last movement coming from in front of Gereson, Gereson would take a swing at them with his fist, but they suddenly disappeared? The masked man was now behind Gereson going for a powerful energy blow at his back. Gereson would not move as he simply jumped into the attack backwards using his shell as a protection. The impact would cause an explosion doing damage to them both. Gereson was now on the ground from that.. and it doesn't look like he was getting back up. He grabbed at the ground trying to push himself up, but his vision was fading he felt like he was dying. He cursed himself for falling here, but he was atleast proud he was going down fighting, the future looked quite bright didn't it?!Undyne can take it all from here. With that thought Gereson would have a smile on his face and closed his eyes.
