An Odd Occurence?

(Narrator): *The two kids, especially Shiro, began to speed up their eating greatly as they almost forgot the day it was, which was now monday. After finishing her food Shiro had them grabbed onto Sora as they would've walked outside with Toriel coming along and driving them to the school promptly dropping them off and going in herself as she was actually a teacher. Although for what subject exactly? Well it was a subject that was introduced after the monsters came back to the surface and reignited magic and study of souls which she had taught about so people could learn about it especially young children which she loved working with the most. Now we follow Shiro and Sora walking towards the school. Although it was odd they were both monitored and checked for any strange objects by people infront of the school like it was a prison. Though it was explained.*

"There have been incidents going on lately. People are trying to disrupt these schools for some reason. Many people die. It's quite awful if I say so myself."

*The two kids would seem shocked, but they couldn't even question it themselves because they had to go within the school.*

(Sora): "So.. what exactly are we doing first? you've kind of dragged me along with you. I hope it's going to be fun."

*Sora would ask curiously after he confirmed with his parents about allowing him to stay with them for some time as long as he visits. It's odd though how easily they let him go with another family.*

(Shiro): "Ah right you're on my schedule here. What we do for our first period is go through history class! Although it might seem boring, trust me some of the things we learn are amazing."

Narrator: *A couple minutes later this would have been proven that Shiro was wrong. The woman and Sora were both struggling to be awake as they had a substitute history teacher that had a rather monotone and boring voice with a rather mean mug. And even worse they were talking about the most boring time of the industrial revolution.*

(Sora): *Sora would have looked over towards Shiro with a tired look and it seemed he was on the brink of tears.*

"You lied to me.."

(Shiro): *Shiro herself would've been silently actually crying seeing that she let Sora down.*

"I'm so sorry!"

Narrator: *The teacher then gave them both a glare as they would've spoken a bit too loud. The two would've suddenly sat straight up and at attention due to the authority of the voice.. After they barely made it through the class, they would go through a couple more classes like baking and math, but now as their final class it would be the most interesting one of all. With Shiro seeming rather happy today despite her normalcy being that of a neutral person who didn't seem really happy, sad or mad. It seemed she really needed the friend in Sora, but alas now Sora was incited by Shiro that this class would actually be fun as they sat together. And their teacher was even Toriel whom he knew to be just the best.*

(Toriel): *The nice fox lady had a rather appropriate attire for a teacher, she had not shown any sort of vanity or high status despite her status as the queen of the monsters as if to act like she was just like everyone else truly a queen of the people. Now she would clear her throat as the class started to get everyone to quiet down.*

"Hello children, welcome back to another day of learning. And today we are going to learn about the seven basic soul traits! These are the most common soul traits that humans have and there are many things that come along with them. Next class though I'll try and tell you all about monster magic. Ahem alright let's get started."

*Toriel would have moved over to the side as she pointed towards a presentation that would've appeared onto the board that was now infront of the class. On it would be 7 souls that of all the basic traits. Now she would switch the slide as it showed a red soul titled determination.*

"Alright class this is the soul determination I know that there is someone in here that has this correct. Well I hope you're paying attention. The red soul of determination is powered by a person's strong drive and determination! They are ready to take on anything with a strong unbreakable determination. So far, from the little determination soul wielders that are known this is some things we know it can do. Upon the brink of defeat one with a determined soul can refuse it and push right through! It could even inspire others to do the same. So, cool right? Other than that those with a real strong determination can even go back.. if they make a sort of mistake and try it again that's an amazing ability isn't it. Stemming from this even it can be used to create energy constructs out of soul energy which most of the souls do though each soul has constructs they are more attuned to. As for determination it's construct attunement is a grand set of armor like that of a knight so they can push through anything! Although it is known that there are likely more things that stem from this, that's all that's known now. Though later someone will come in to tell us more on that."

*She would then look around the class.*

"Any questions?"

Narrator: *A young boy in the class would have raised their hands to ask them a question.*

"Ms Toriel. What do you mean by going back? Do they walk backwards or something?"

*The class would erupt in laughter from the rather silly seeming question.*

(Toriel): *She had let out a light chuckle herself.*

"Settle down, that's not quite it. It's more like going back in time, turning back the clock.. though it's not something to be handled lightly."

*There would've been a large Ooo amongst the class as this sounded almost too amazing to be real to them.. and the possibility that wasn't the limit of its power?*

"Anyways class i'll tell you that determination is by no means the strongest each and every soul has their own use they could even be about equal. Now then let's talk about the kind soul.

*A shining green soul would've then appeared on the screen that she was displaying. With the words kindness above it.*

"The kind soul is known for its great ability at helping. It can miraculously and quickly heal anyone from pretty much anything up to 90% instantly, but it also heals nearby bad guys by 20% so one must be careful. It is also known for its rather great ability to boost up anyone else around them and have rather great defenses able to reflect most attacks! Although a fun fact is that the kind soul is able to be quite the good cook with their signature construct being a frying pan. It is able to cook delicious food out of nothing that can give empowering effects. It can also create other items to help assist people. The kind soul is known for the ability to give the greatest increases to allie's overall and a useful part of the team in a dangerous situation. Oh one thing I almost forgot they aren't able to fully uhm defeat someone due to their kindness and that would be very bad as they would succumb to the same fate. Though a good thing is that kindness can easily wipe away hatred."

Narrator: There would be some kids with the kind soul in the class that were quite feeling themselves up right now after Toriel gave the presentation of them being useful.

(Toriel): *The slide would have then switched to that of perseverance.*

"Although perseverance may not seem like an awfully strong soul it has the ability to, well, persevere. After every time they are pushed back they will easily bounce back with something new to take a victory! They're usually quite the tanky ones that are hard to bring down, able to turn down along with their ability like every other soul to create energy projections. Perseverance doesn't have a specific stronger projection as it determines its own. Though it gets a bit more complex as perseverance users store up energy the more that they get hit along with another unique ability. This ability being the fact that the user can persist even after they uh.. lose completely in a battle they may keep themselves in once more with a huge power boost until their opponent is absolutely defeated. These are the front lines to help keep everyone safe!"

(Narrator): One thing Toriel didn't say was that when she said absolute defeat what she truly meant was death. Although they weren't little kids she didn't really like to mention that and wanted them all to be happy atleast for some time more. And now it seemed the kids had been understanding with Toriel going on to explain the next as she cleared her throat needing to get through these rather quickly.

(Toriel): "Now we have the justice soul. Those that have the justice soul command respect and justice of course. With their commanding authority they can impose this on their opponents that make them seem weary and double check their actions stunning them in place. Besides that they are like cowboys in the fact that their special constructs are lassos and guns, mostly revolvers. Though they can even make gallant steeds that can ride around yeehaw! Oh and they even have an ultimate ability to instantly put a bad guy on trial. If they are found guilty various things are done to them depending on the sentencing. Take those criminals to justice ey."

*It would seem Toriel would try to keep an upbeat tone and voice as she moved along through these as she had then moved onto the soul of integrity.*

"Here we have the soul of integrity known to be held by people with great morals and such. The soul of integrity has a rather impressive ability of being able to control various integrities of things. It is quite nice if you know how to use it. Ahem then there's also the great agility that many users are shown to have with their weapon of choice being rapiers and fancy ballet moves haha."

*The slide would have then switched over now to display a brand new slide of the soul of Bravery*

"This is bravery, the ability to still fight despite overwhelming odds. The soul has unique aspects of both active and passive abilities. The active abilities allow for a bravery user to summon weapons as well, but the difference is they have mastery over any kind and are easily the strongest ones of any soul there is though they need to know about it. Accompanying this it gives them the best strength and overall physicals with integrity having a slightly better agility. And passively as bravery is those who have it can never feel fear or have their mind manipulated and attacked."

*The class would go on silently eager for her to finish now.*

"Last, but not least we have the Patience soul. The patience user can control the speed of anything that it touches with all 10 fingers. It can be deactivated at any time. The patience soul has the weapon of strings that are extremely tough and flexible. Another thing though it can do is summon a patience energy or apply it to other things. While in contact with the patience aura it hurts anyone who tries to move while it lasts on them."

*Toriel would have been about to go on before she remembered one more thing thag was very important about souls.*

"Ah that's right I've forgotten to tell about what happens when someone goes against their trait.. there are one of two things that may happen if it's not an offshoot of their own trait. What could happen is their soul shatters and it ends up with them you know what and going to the afterlife. A second possible option is they lose their trait entirely with a chance to get it back.. But there is one more thing that is different than the rest. If someone is consumed by an extreme hatred their soul trait can turn into that of hate which consumes them and causes them to do terrible things."

(Narrator): Toriel would've finally been able to take a bit of a break from talking so much as she took some breaths taking a seat in her chair now. Though whilst she was speaking every kid was writing down notes on each and every soul. Although that's when Toriel would make an announcement for everyone to make an apparition of their souls come out they would as some guests entered the room. First it would be Alphys followed by Undyne and Papyrus who was smiling brightly, but for what reason could they be here?

(Alphys): *Alphys would begin to speak in her rather nerdy voice, stuttering slightly, but it seemed she'd gotten a tad bit better at speaking, especially publicly.*

"Ah-uhm hello kids. I'm only here to conduct research. I'll be watching over everything today. Currently we are studying Soul Awakening. The possibility to awaken one's soul to another level, but through theory there may be even more than one Awakening one may be able to go through. And with each generation it seems people are able to grow the power of their self easier and easier like rapid evolution. With you being the best generation to study I hope you all don't mind."

*Alphys would wipe her head of sweat hoping she hadn't made a fool of herself, but she was confident she hadn't. Though she would go to the back to let Papyrus and Undyne speak. Although the kids were actually quite interested in the concept of a soul Awakening or Awakenings. Just what could they do?*

(Papyrus): *Papyrus would stand there with his hands on his hips for a moment as it seemed the room grew darker and a light was shone on both himself and Undyne. They were currently the stars hey and they had to make a cool introduction. In a sudden flash each student would find a fresh plate of spaghetti on their desks.. just how could he do that! Alas he would then stand in a different pose as his scarf flew in the wind with a hand on chin*

"Nyehehehe! Hello humans and monsters alike! Are you ready to be trained by the grrrrreatest of the royal guard! We will show you great tricks to impress your friends and keep everybody you know safe as well!"

(Undyne): *Undyne would Suddenly interrupt Papyrus to speak now.*

"Alright squirts you heard him hurry up and eat that Pasta so we can get you in shape."

*She would then point to two images that somehow appeared above her? One would display a rather wimpy boy and monster as it was titled before, but then the other image had two noticeably more muscular beings with the words after.*

"This is what i'll make you squirts into!"

Narrator: The children were more than convinced by the two as they slurped up Papyrus's delicious spaghetti, but as soon as everyone was done they had somehow suddenly been transported to another area containing an empty area made as a training ground. Just how could they do that? Though there were now signs for monsters and humans on opposite ends. Monster and human magic didn't work the same so it needed to be seperated. Shiro would obviously be confused, but since she already learnt a bit of both she would opt to go to the side of Sora which was the human side. Alphys would currently be overlooking anything for more signs of this awakening energy. And perhaps how they could facilitate it.

(Shiro): *Shiro would have found Sora within the crowd and stood next to him happily.*

"Isn't papyrus just the greatest. Hehe ah I hope you're ready though"

(Sora): "Hah you think so? Well I guess he's quite cool. Ah ready for what exactly wait wait I think I forgo-"

*Although midway through he went into a state of distress due to the amount of his non-knowledge. Papyrus would begin to speak once more to tell all about what they had to do*

(Papyrus): *He would have then tapped onto his microphone made from a bone that actually worked.*

"Hello hello. Alright humans let me tell you all about how one uses a basic soul ability. Unlike monster magic it's less about studying and researching complex things. Uh from what my good human friend told me you must resonate with your soul trait and keep in tune with it. Then imagine what you want to do, but once you're further into it you can do it without any sort of mental prompting, but something imprinted within your body and soul. Now reach out humans, and feel your energy!"

Narrator: The many humans would have begun to feel out their soul energies as they manifested it in small portions outside of their body within the air. Papyrus would clap congratulating them, but two of the energies stood out, being the cursed one of Sora and the hybrid one of Shiro. Alphys already knew of Shiro, but Sora was a new development as she would definitely record the readings about that. The kids not being as in tune with their soul abilities wouldn't be able to really tell just a slight odd feeling. On the opposing side with Undyne the kids would be given motivational speeches as they were made to do exercise while studying the basics of magic at the same time. A bit of time would pass before everything would be over after various lessons were gone through to build on the basic fundamentals. Each kid would've been given things to study at home to understand the use of a soul more. Although for one last bit of excitement as a demonstration for the kids. The kids would suddenly be set in stands as Papyrus and Undyne stood alone. There was a counter? Well this could be considered a live display of magic.

(Papyrus): "Alright Ms Undyne. I'll have a chance to face you once more here. I hope I do better than when tried for your position. But I know I could never take it from the magnificent Undyne"

(Undyne): "Quiet Papyrus no room for compliments on the battlefield this is war! Sun 3..2..1.."

*After the countdown would've been finished Undyne would quickly move forward towards Papyrus as a spear was made in her hand about to come down on him!*

Narrator: *The battle would have quickly began with Papyrus the Great about to be struck with the spear of Undyne, but it was quickly denied as a bone was summoned within his grasp and quickly denied the attack, swiping it away quickly. Although Papyrus would have been extremely quick now pushing Undyne away by slamming his bone into her chest. Papyrus has then raised one of his hands upwards causing a blue bone structure to be summoned within undyne having a smile on his face announcing. "Undyne you can't escape my blue attack!" Although Undyne could indeed escape as she would've walked slowly out of the bones. Undyne was able to brute force through the bone damage that was quite high and had a smile on her face. It seemed Undyne wanted to show off for the kids. "Alright Papyrus, let me show you something I've been working on!" Undyne would now have said as she focused her energy on something else. Papyrus would have ran right towards Undyne trying to stop her but.. well before this happens we must explain something else. Don't you wonder what happened to the battle box? The battle box used in fights before had become unused now as it drifted away. Although it could still be used, people had come to prefer regular battle, but there was another way found to use it. Battle boxes could then be made as a manifestation of the users soul brought into the world in a certain area. And so Undyne would have created her battle box in this battle that would appear as the Sea with them both being submerged in water. Papyrus now floated infront of Undyne at the disadvantage as he would look at Undyne with a shocked face with his eyeballs shooting out his head suprised. "WOWIE!" Papyrus would shout although unfortunately when he wished for a greater performance Undyne just wanted to end it instantly. Undyne would have quickly blitzed around the water at speeds incomprehensible even towards Papyrus and anyone else in the room. In about a few seconds without anyone even being able to see it the battle had ended. Papyrus was now floating in the water with cartoonish X's on his eyes indicating a knockout. There would then be a sudden noise announcing Undyne victory as the water disappeared. The kids would all applaud and enjoy the showing as they were quickly sent to go home. Toriel would have been waiting for Shiro and Sora.*

(Toriel): "I hope you both quite enjoyed the day! Especially you Sora since this was your first day. Aha and I tried getting those two to make it more hands on and fun because I may not be the best."

(Shiro): "Thanks ma. Today was truly amazing, but don't worry you do your best all the time and that's what I love. I quite like how you are"

(Sora): "I agree with Shiro certainly. And I quite enjoyed my day all around today, but I'm curious about my soul.. it's different from everyone else's I want to find out."

(Toriel): "Thank you both very much. Oh, I'm curious about that as well, my child. I hope we can find out more soon enough."

Narrator: The two would have now driven home as their day would've happened quite normally though sharing their exciting experiences at school with the others that weren't there. It wasn't much to speak of, but there was someone else who had quite the tale to tell.

(Frisk): *Frisk would now be up yawning as she couldn't quite go to sleep with her hair quite a mess and herself in her Pajamas stylized after Sans drinking some warm milk and going upstairs with some cookies. Now going back to her and Charas room to try and sleep she would stare through her doorway and wait she saw something? Frisk could have sworn that she saw another door past her doorway. Frisk then began to rub her own eyes to see if what she was seeing was real, but it remained there. Frisk would begin to walk closer, eating her cookies. Although her eyes suddenly opened with full shock now. This door was something she remembered from years ago, those years ago when she went on to bring the monsters to the surface. Without question it would be opened by her now looking into it.*

"Mister Gaster?"

*Frisk would call out for the scientist lost in the void that she met with before.*

(???): *Suddenly a voice would have came from the door before a person or monster appeared at the doorway with a strange smile*

(Gaster): *It was the great scientist Gaster who despite his face seemed quite concerned as he began to speak.*

"Human. You have little time, but I cannot help you yet. You must survive and keep everyone safe, don't reset again or you'll mess up the timeline beyond repair. I can only tell you, three days is all you have before a catastrophe strikes. On the fourth day your time may run out. Especially take care of your little sister."

*Gaster suddenly phased into the black as the door closed.*
