Marion awoke to a ray of light streaming in through the gap in the curtains in the room. She squinted to block out the sunlight that shone on her eyes which were still covered by sleepiness. She was too lazy to get out of bed. However, it felt different, and there was a strong and warm arm holding her all night.
The girl lifted her face to see if the man had woken up or was still asleep and reluctant to get up like her.
