(3rd POV)
Drops of sweat fell from her forehead, neither of them made a move yet but Edelweiss didn't dare to lower her guard and kept her gaze locked on Shirou.
'This…is bad…' She thought, but contrary to what she was thinking, the corner of her lips curved upwards and her heart was beating excitedly.
How many years has been since she had a battle like this?
Ever since she finished her training under Ryouma Kurogane, she never felt truly challenged even after fighting so many opponents. And eventually, she lost her reason to wield her swords.
However, everything changed now.
The man she was facing now was several times stronger than her and the loser of this duel was already clear for her. But she didn't feel down, instead, she felt like giving all of her to defeat her opponent.
'This somehow reminds me of the time when I was still training…' Edelweiss chuckled lightly before her expression turned serious.
'Everything will be settled in this instant.'
From her observation, Edelweiss could conclude that Shirou wanted to end the duel in the next exchange of blades, so she prepared herself for his next attack.
Meanwhile, Shirou looked in the corner of his eyes at black chains that were 'restricting' his movements.
"Tsk, how annoying," Shirou clicked his tongue in annoyance.
The chains on him were the Chains of Fate that every Blazers had and it is also the ones that all Desperado freed from.
When Shirou first entered partial dragonification during the training, he could immediately feel these chains all over his body, but at that time he didn't bother with it.
Shirou clenched his fist hard as he poured all his strength into his body. The chains that were holding him started screaking each time Shirou moved until cracks started spreading along the chains before they reached their 'limits' and shattered into pieces.
Suddenly, all the accumulating mana that Shirou was generating burst out from him, sending everything around him away and making the ground underneath him split. At that moment, Shirou felt that he was set 'free' from something that was holding him.
"What!?" Edelweiss gasped in astonishment, not only because of the amount of mana he was releasing, but also because she felt Shirou's presence becoming the same as a Desperado.
However, she didn't have time to be surprised as her instincts started screaming at her. Without wasting time, Edelweiss raised Testament at her chest level and entered in a defensive stance.
Shirou leaned forward and jumped towards her direction at breakneck speed and immediately arrived a few steps in front of her.
Her crystal blue eyes widened as she saw a white katana approaching her heart. Her arm muscles tensed and immediately swung her swords to intercept his attack.
The blades came closer and closer as if they were in slow motion until they hit each other, but Edelweiss couldn't believe what happened next.
*Creak!* *Creak!* *Shatter!"
Testament, Edelweiss' trusted twin swords, shattered like broken glass upon contact with Miike Tenta Mitsuyo's blade.
She immediately felt the strength leaving her body and started falling. Shirou quickly dematerialized his katana and caught her before she hit the ground.
His appearance gradually turned to normal as he put her carefully on the ground, not forgetting to heal her injuries first.
"I…I lost…" Edelweiss muttered as a faint smile formed on her face.
'So this is the sensation of defeat…' She thought while looking at the orange sky. The feeling of losing left a bitter taste in her mouth, but somehow It was a nostalgic feeling that she didn't feel in years.
"Yeah, and I won," Shirou said with a smile as he crunched down.
"It's been a while…since I lost…" She said and her eyes met Shirou's, "As I promised…I will join the Chat Group…and…I will do you…whatever you say…for one time."
Her eyes were getting heavier as time passed and her voice was getting fainter, which was noticed by Shirou.
Devices are the materialization of a Blazer's soul into an object (normally weapons), so by default if they were broken, the Blazer would receive no harm from it and will only lose consciousness.
"You should rest, you are already at your limit," Shirou said, "Leave the rest to me."
Edelweiss nodded weakly and closed her eyes, "That was…a good fight."
"Yeah, you are strong," Shirou said, which earned a chuckle from the white haired beauty.
"What are…you saying…?...You…were…holding back…" Edelweiss said before she let herself sink into the world of dreams.
"She didn't even say where she was staying at," Shirou muttered as he shook his head, before grabbing her by hip and putting her on his shoulders like a sack of potatoes.
"Wait," Shirou said in realization, "Won't this be like I am kidnapping her?"
He pondered about it and decided to give her a piggyback and, immediately, he felt her soft yet firm warm mountains, not to mention her thicc thighs.
Shirou shook his head to let these impure thoughts go away and immediately left the mirror world.
Then Shirou teleported back to the apartment where everyone of the Chat Group arrived in this world.
Then he placed Edelweiss on the sofa and wrote a note for her and put it on the table, but then suddenly he heard a loud muffled sound coming from one of the rooms of the apartment.
Out of curiosity, Shirou went to the source of the noise and opened slightly the door, leaving only a gap, but that was his greatest mistake as it would cost both of his eyes and brain cells.
"Go! Magi~Mari-chan~! Go, Magi~Mari-chan~! Go! Go! Go!" Romani cheered loudly with his hands holding idol lightsticks and swinging them like he was dancing.
Romani was watching a karaoke stream of 'Magi Marie' for a few hours and already donated one-quarter of his monthly income on superchats and he will keep sending more.
BUT that wasn't the problem at all.
Shirou He was wearing a white fur jacket that resembled a certain Beast and had a white scarf with 'Magi⭐Mari❤️' written on it in light pink colour without wearing pants.
Without saying a word, Shirou silently closed the door and turned around. His face was stoic and showed no sign of emotion and took a deep breath.
'What in Jesus' name are you doing, Solomon!?' Shirou thought while a frown appeared on his face, at the thought of this Jewish King being respected by many people reduced to this.
Shirou sighed in disappointment and decided to not think further or else he might become Avenger at this rate.
To distract his mind from the cursed image, he took out his phone to inform everyone.
