Lily and Becky

"Oh hi, you must be Lily and Becky! It's nice to meet you."

"Yup! I'm Lily and this is my best friend Becky. She's a tiny bit shy at first but completely changes once she gets to know you."

"Uh... hi guys." *smirking embarrassingly*

Lily and Becky were both gorgeous, they looked like they were around our age. Becky had long brown hair with hazelnut eyes. Lily had shorter hair and was blonde with green eyes.

I took a look at Theo and he looked right at Lily. I've never seen Theo turn so red looking at someone before.

"H..h..h..hi it's nice to meet you... Lily! and uh Becky."

"My name is John Hawkins and this is my best friend Theo. I guess we're all a team now. There are 2 rooms with 2 beds in each room, you guys can pick which one you want I could care less."

They seem like nice people but way too innocent to get dragged into a situation like this. I just hope that our group will be okay.

"Oh right I forgot to mention! The mystery man is letting us know where we are waking up the next day." Lily shouted to all of us in the dorm.

"So is he announcing it to everyone or is he personally going to each group." I replied.

"He will be coming here personally, as far as I heard. Each group is going into a different world, but since we are a group our worlds will collide in whatever fate we'll be at."

"Interesting, I wonder what our first environment will be. Well we don't have anything to do so why don't we all just take a seat and chat."

"So John, you and Theo are high schoolers right? Me and Becky here are also in high school."

"Ya, we are in our 4th year."

"Same with us."

"Have you guys been to the future and viewed different fates?"

"I have yes, and Becky went twice."

"Becky, when you went your first time were you married had kids and a full time job? Then on your second time you were living alone and single with a part time job?"

"Yeah! It was exactly like that!"

"So you were the first one to experience it. Then on your second time you got a call from Lily and then you later found out she lived through the same day?"

"That is... exactly what happened."

"Theo do you think this was intentional? It must be some huge coincidence this happened to us. Or do you think every pair is exactly like what happened?"

"That sounds like it would happen yes."

"Well, Becky, Lily we'll have to work together from now on if we're gonna survive. I'm sorry you guys got dragged into this situation."

"Oh don't be sorry... I guess things just happen in life I guess. I just hope the best for everyone that's all." Becky quietly responded.

"Hey uh John, do you know if Uh Becky and Lily will remain in our groups permanently? Or is it just for this challenge."

I whispered into Theo's ear.

"Why do you wanna know? Is it because of L.I.L.Y."

Theo immediately blushed and declined my allegation.

"Well an honest answer to that is.... I know just as much as you haha."

It's really difficult in a time like this, I'm scared and really worried. I can see the fear in everyone else's eyes as well. None of us are happy to be here but if we're gonna make it through whatever challenge is thrown at us we'll have to be strong. Although "The Mystery Man " did say challenges would get harder, so I doubt our first challenge will be all that difficult. For the remaining period of the time we just spoke and got to know more about each other. Finally "The Mystery Man" arrived and gave us our challenge.

[I hope you guys made yourself at home. You will wake up tomorrow in a future reality. You will remain there for the following week. As I have previously mentioned you will have to learn and quickly adapt to all of its challenges. Successfully doing so you will wake up the following morning on the 8th day. A warning though.... if you are on the 7th night and aren't sleeping by 12:00am you will be stuck in that reality for another day causing you to lose an entire day of your break. This challenge is quite simple. John and Becky you will be a married couple. Theo and Lily you will do the same. Each of you will have contact with each other the following week. There are traps to make this challenge a lot harder. Also don't think about staying up past 12:00am in this world to delay switching. You will be knocked out at 10:00pm sharp. Any questions?]

"You set us up in groups of 2 male 2 females. Was this done intentionally for this challenge or is our permanent placement group?"

[Excellent question Hawkins. Yes this is your permanent group. If that's all, I'll be off now rest up.]

"Whoah wait what! Me with Lily....!"

Man... Theo is loosing it right now his face is bright red... he's over exaggerating it's not that big of a deal.

"Theo, relax. It's not that bad. Kids hate it when their parents kiss in front of them so it's not like you'll even ever have to do something that'll make you uncomfortable, you understand?"

"Yeah I guess... Thanks John. Well Lily I look forward to working with you I guess. I just hope we can pass this."

"Yup! Let's do the best we can! Let's beat John and Becky while we're at it. It'll be a piece of cake."

"Stop Lily. Sorry John, Theo. Lily can be a little competitive at times."

"Hey since we are gonna have to be sleeping together the following week. Does that mean we should stay in each other's room?"

"Not a chance pervert." Coincidentally we all said it at the same time.

"Ha..ha.. it was worth a shot."

I dragged Theo into our room to talk to him.

"So... do you like Lily?"

"What? What do you mean. She's super pretty but I barely know her, why are you asking?"

"You seem flustered whenever you see or speak to her."

"It's nothing man trust me. None of us have time for this stuff right now. I just wanna go home and survive you know?"

"Yup, but don't worry man I'll be your wing man. You can do it."

"Thanks... buddy."

Romance is probably something none of us should be thinking about. We are still teenagers after all. It's normal for us to feel this way but tomorrow is when I'll have to get serious.
