"No, Sakuya you mean, Shirou should have been mine today~!"
"Who decided he is your thing, Shirou will be going today with me!"
Shirou only sighed at his predicament, as the two sisters were tugging his arms like a bunch of children. It was after breakfast in Miyako Inn that the situation has become like this. On the other side, Shino was just enjoying the current skit that unfolded before her eyes.
While she worried about her daughters falling into bad man, moreover the gullible Pia, at least she can rest easy that there's another sword that will protect them from harm. Unknown to Shirou his presence was already like an umbrella to them, due to how dangerous Shino other trades are.
The young man trait was, she somehow unsure about it, impeccable. He's strong, had rather dashing figures, not to mention he's good in housework and other menial skills. Shino sighed if only she was 15 years younger she wouldn't mind accepting another proposal should Shirou attracted to her.
"Sigh, don't fight you two. I'll accompany both of you today, how hard it could be?"
Shirou used her brotherly charms, and it was super effective. He smiled softly while skillfully releasing both of his hands from their clutches and placed them on both of their heads as he ruffled both of them like some people please cats as both of them unintentionally purred.
"Fine, if you said it like that Shirou."
"But I'm first 'kay Sakuya~"
"Fine and then we'll go my way."
He released a breath, shaking his head at the pair of sister's antics. Shino clapped her hands, gaining their attention across the dining table.
"Well since it is settled, I'll leave both of them to you Shirou. I'll attend the guest now." With that Shino stood up and went to the wing area where Inn guests were staying.
"Then where do we go, Pia?"
"My soap supply has gone dry, and the bath spirit won't be pleased if I do not scrub them clean this afternoon."
Bath spirit?
"It just Pia thing, she claims she's able to see Spirit and things."
Sakuya who seen the confusion on Shirou's face replied. They were descending down the stairs to the town below.
Pia pouted at Sakuya words, "But it's true, Mr. Bath didn't like being dirty, and he told me that he will safeguard the bath from squid invasion."
"Yes, yes, I'll believe you, Pia."
"Muu~ Sakuya is a meanie."
"Then we need to restock these soap, easy right, but where?"
Shirou butted in their conversation.
"We usually buy soap in advance through the merchant guild in the port, but I'll guess Hazel General Store in the town square would suffice until we can restock it again. And I heard they have a spring discount today."
"I see. You surprisingly good at this Sakuya."
"Wh-What do you mean. This is just a daily errand for me."
Sakuya flustered at his words, as trying to cover her reddened cheeks.
"Say the girl who likes to buy odd and weird things, saying that they will sell like a hotcake but ended up in red anyway."
"H-how do you know that Pia?"
"Your ledger of course~"
Pia is surprisingly sharp at some times, making him wonder if her air-headedness is intentional or not, though he admits that she only likes to tease Sakuya from time to time and to get back at her.
"But I hid it well, even mom didn't know it… Just wait and see, Pia…"
Muttered the Inn Girl, while keeping her face away from the pink-ette who only tilted her head.
"Stop muttering, it looks like we've arrived."
Said Shirou, he already remembered the layout of the town just by looking at the map and viewing them above the Miyako Inn which situated on top of a hill.
The building was just like any else in the town, made of solid white brick supported by a wooden railing. A few trimmed moss grew on the side, as flowers pot were arranged beautifully in front of the store or left hanging on the wall.
There's a carriage that currently being unloaded of its content as men were busy transporting crate after crate to the warehouse in the back of the store. A woman in, presumably, her thirties was conversing with the carriage driver.
"Good morning Hazel."
"Good morning Sakuya, Ara, who might this young man be?"
Hazel cast a smile at the three of them, wondering if the young man is the one who Shino often mentioned when she comes to buy grocery.
"Nice to meet you, Hazel, I'm Shirou Emiya. I just moved into the Miyako Inn last week."
"Well what a well-mannered young man we have, it's good to know that more of men is willing to stay in this town." Hazel only giggled, "Then what business you have?"
"We just wanted stock soap for the bath inn."
Sakuya replied.
"You can just enter the shop, my daughter is currently manning the counter. Don't be shy-"
Though she was interrupted by one of the men who move the crates.
"Hazel, where should we place this."
"Ara, I think I will end this for now. Nice to see you Shirou, Sakuya, Pia." With that, she walked to the back of the store.
Sakuya only smiled softly while shrugging, then three of them entered the shop which dimly lit as the only source of light was a few candles and the sunray that passed through the windows.
"Hmm? Welcome… If you just windows-shopping please kindly leave."
Came the laziest voice he ever heard, a tinge to his back that it was reminded of his former guardian. The girl had a silver-hair the same as her mother, Hazel. While Hazel outfit was enveloped in green, the girl had blue the same as the color identic with their eyes. Both of them were like the antithesis to each other.
"Who wanted to window-shop on a general store, Karina?"
"Tch… and here's I hoping no customer will come… then what do you want, Sakuya?"
"Bath soap please~"
Sakuya only sighed, while Pia was chiming in and raised her hand.
"The bath is behind those shelves, please help yourself." The silver-haired girl lazily raises her finger and pointed towards a row of shelves that contain various goods they sell.
Sakuya and Pia went over there to pick which soap they will buy, meanwhile, he was left behind with Karina on the counter who rested her hand and tried to drift into sleep again.
"What do you want… no, Sakuya will never bring an unknown man much near Pia… so, who are you?"
"I'm Shirou Emiya, I just move into the Miyako Inn. Nice to meet you, Karina."
Karina nodded at him and muttered, "Great another dazzling man moving in town…"
He was about to ask what Karina mean when the two-sister already decided their soap after their brief argument.
"Mr. Bath will be satisfied with this. I want to buy two crates of it~"
"Sigh, can you buy normally like other customers…"
"What do you mean Karina, you just didn't want to deliver those crates right? Or might be I should ask Hazel instead" Sakuya grinned mischievously.
"Right…" The shop-attendant only slumped in defeat, knowing she already lost the battle the moment she talks with Sakuya who giggled at her.
"Thank you, Karina~ your sacrifice won't be forgotten."
"Yeah… I will deliver it this afternoon if you don't mind."
"Sure~"
Pia happily replied, as they concluded their business in the store, and went to wherever the place Sakuya wanted this time.
