"Praise be to, God of Gods, Shiva!"
Karna folded his hands and bowed with devotion in front of Shiva.
"Mahadeva, if you were expecting me, you should also know why I'm here?"
Karna continued.
[Mahadev is another name for Shiva means "The Great God"]
"Son, I don't know everything."
Shiva replied with a smile from which Karna realized that Shiva wanted him to say it.
"Mahadeva, why did you resurrect me after I died at the hands of Arjuna?"
Karna asked curiously.
"Why did you think it was me? It could have been the god of death, Yama."
Shiva asked.
"Sending me into the future or bringing me from the past, there's only you could hope do to that, Mahadeva."
Shiva smiled hearing Karna's explanation. He left his seat and walked to the edge of the cliff, followed by Karna.
Soon, in an instant, Shiva and Karna were enveloped by a large spherical kaleidoscope.
From the middle of the sphere, Karna could see a variety of events happening.
A mother feeding her kid, him losing to Arjuna, Hitler shooting himself, him coming to meet Shiva, Kunti deciding to not leave him in a river, him winning against Arjuna, and several other infinite possibilities that happened or could happen.
"What is this, Mahadeva?"
Karna asked, amazed by the sight he was seeing.
"Son, it is a kaleidoscope of the multiverse. From here you could see every event from every timeline and universe."
Shiva explained.
This was the power of Shiva. Also known as the Destroyer, who will bring destruction to everything once their need ceases to exist, was the Primordial God of Time or the personification of Time. Not only he could look in other timelines and universes, but he could also visit them. One of his powers was to exist outside of time.
Because of all of this, he was one of the strongest being to exist.
As Karna watched various possibilities, soon several mirrors started breaking till only one mirror remained which showed him talking to Shiva.
"What happened, Mahadeva? Why did other universes cease to exist?"
Karna asked.
"You are right, my son. All the timelines which didn't have you in the present time were ravaged by one way or another."
Shiva said.
"So that's why I'm here."
Karna said. A big confusion on why there was a need for him to become a god had been cleared by God Shiva.
"Yes, my son. I want you to save this world from destruction. Can you do it, Karna?"
Shiva asked as the kaleidoscope disappeared from around them.
Karna pondered for a moment before replying.
"I am immensely happy to be given this responsibility by the God of Gods, Shiva, himself. How could I say no?"
Karna bowed and happily thanked the Destroyer.
Shiva smiled very well expecting that Karna won't deny his request.
"I'm pleased with you, Karna. Have this gift from me as a thank you."
Shiva said and summoned a sword in his hand.
The sword emitting an exceptional destructive aura was pitch black, as it was void. Its aura was even stronger than Shiva's bow, Vijaya.
"Asi?"
Karna said in surprise as he identified the sword from its energy.
"Indeed. Asi is the first weapon ever created, by the God Brahma himself to vanquish evil. From now on, Karna, you will be the sole owner of this primordial sword. With this, you can destroy any being you deem evil."
Shiva handed the sword to Karna.
But the moment Karna held the primordial sword, his arm shrunk to the bones. Asi was absorbing his power at an unimaginable rate.
But Karna was no novice, with enough will he managed to control the sword meant to destroy the evil. His hand returned to normal as he felt that Asi had accepted his dominance.
"I don't know how to thank you, Mahadeva. Please accept my gratitude."
Karna said as he made the sword disappear.
"You don't need to thank me, Karna. Even as a hero of charity, you could get some gifts too."
Shiva smiled and walked beside him.
"Come, my wife had prepared some food. I am sure you will like it."
Shiva said as he walked towards his palace in the snowy mountain.
Karna, no matter how humble he was, couldn't deny the opportunity to taste the food prepared by Goddess Parvati herself. He without any opposition followed behind the Destroyer.
---------
"Thank you for preparing food for me, Mother Parvati."
Karna said gratefully as he seated with God Shiva to eat while Goddess Parvati was serving them food. He had just finished savoring the taste of the 56th bowl of his favorite sweet dish, Kheer.
'I missed it a lot.'
He thought.
"Have some more, son."
Goddess Parvati said and poured some more Kheer into his bowl.
Karna was enjoying the food heartfully. It had the taste of a mother's love just like his adoptive mother made. He felt very nostalgic after eating the food prepared by the goddess.
Once the meal was done, Karna asked permission to leave Kailash and go back.
"Thank you for the meal, mother Parvati. It was extremely tasty."
Karna thanked the goddess again.
"How sweet, you can visit us any time. I'll prepare different dishes for you and even introduce you to my son, Ganesha."
Parvati said with a gentle smile. Karna had to say that this goddess had such a motherly aura.
"I should get going, please give me your blessings."
Karna nodded and bowed down.
"I bless you to always come out victorious, Karna."
Shiva raised his and blessed him.
"I bless your life to be filled with love, son Karna."
After Shiva, the Goddess of Love and Motherhood blessed him.
After getting the blessings, Karna took his leave from Shiva's adobe.

A/N
Hey guys, Indian Rake here.
Red or white hair for Karna?
I want to write a wholesome chapter but I guess it was pretty difficult.
Also Karna got a sword and two powerful boons. Means he won't be losing to anyone and also going to get a harem. That was obvious from the start.
Please leave comments, power stones and reviews.
Thank you.
