That figure remained stood in an isolated area, confused eyes shifting here to there, taking in the environs.

One minute she found herself in an open field, and the next, she had a body of water surrounding, its ripples onto her feet.

She could hear some voices whispering beckoning onto her, yet those words indecipherable.

Those voices sailed around her figure, dancing in her ears, screaming her name.

"Be careful" She heard that whisper.

"Be careful of that which comes to you as light, but is in fact, your doom!"

And the next thing the girl knew, she had swept off that area, and tossed into the open mouth of fiery flame.

She found herself being engulfed by a swirl of fire, and next followed a ball of light advancing her.

~~~
A loud bang was what jolted Takara off that nightmare, which left her skin in chills.
And with a start, she had pulled her off the warmth of her bed, hurrying out her room to check whatever it was she heard.
It was past midnight, and even for someone like her who found it hard catching proper sleep, she knew she had to retire for the night.
The little time she had managed to have, had yet again been interrupted by a nightmare, and the girl knew just well what was to come next.
It would usually involve her going to the roof, living in the silence of the night, while trying to replay the day's activities in her head.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
There came that noise again.
Except this time, it was coming from their own apartment.
Actually, it came from the door, and despite how fast the twenty-one year old got the jitters, she pushed forwards going to check for herself.
Knock! Knock!
She heard those taps again.
Whoever thought it wise to come disturb the peace of someone at such ungodly hour? And why ever was she curious to check for herself.
Perhaps she should stay back and ignore whoever it was.
Or maybe even call the police.
How about getting something to defend herself with?
All of those thoughts made their way to Takara, having her mind churned.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
There came the knock again, and giving no second thoughts, she had pried the door open, coming to reveal that sullen figure stood there.
His eyes were the first thing that met hers, with a scowl tugging at his lips.
How fast she had wanted to shut the door at him, but pushing his foot between the door and its frame, he prevented her from doing such.
"It's 2:55 in the morning, Shota. What do you want?"
The young man only remained peering on at her, that scowl still tugging at the corners of his lips.
"Where were you all day?"
The voice of Shota came out rough, so low, with those questioning eyes centered on the figure of the girl away.
"And how should that be any concern of yours?" Came her voice.
"You were out screwing one of those thugs, isn't it?"
"If anyone's a thug whom I know, it certainly is you, Shota"
"There you go again, acting like my existence irks the most of you, like we weren't wrapped in each other's hold couple months ago" There followed that frown tugging at the corners of his lips.
"We're done, Shota" Came that irked voice of Takara, with the pensiveness rested in her gaze.
She tried slamming the door onto him, but the hold of the young man yet again, halted her actions.
"I want you back" His words were low this time, the sympathy rested in her eyes.
"I can't"
"Come on. Don't do this to me"
"I can't go on, Shota?"
"And why is that?" The holler if his voice was what gave the girl a jump, with eyes widened as he gripped her by the neck, face inching closer.
"You've always said to me that you'd be there through all of my hard times" He gave a growl.
"You mentioned that you would stand by me in the darkest of times" He called through gritted teeth, tightening his hold on her neck, while the girl went wrangling on, trying to get out the firm grip.
"What happened to those promises?"
"You're hurting me, Shota" She called through raspy breaths.
"Why the fuck did you turn away?!" He yelled.
"You made me" That voice was strangled, the eyes of the girl bloodshot, and in a second, he had smacked her across the face, shoving her to the ground.
In that moment, Takara could feel the wind of life, sailing all around her, the silence following through, while her breathing got restored.
The pains she had been given, had turned her  whole body rushed with such feel that was bound to leaving her battered minutes later.
Her hands went rubbing the itch on her face where Shota had hit her.
He had done it yet again, and having been warned countless times, he found it best coming to her, making his disappointment known.
"You're mine. Do you hear me?" His voice poured out dangerous.
He crouched low to her, gaze held in hers, watching that terror laid there. That look of the girl which only made him feel more powerful.
"You can go on screwing every guy you come across. But you and I both know it would end with us being together" He had grabbed her by the chin, prompting her to look into his eyes.
And with that, he spat at her feet, straightening his jacket, and then retreating into the murk.
The eyes of Takara lingered on that figure, watching as he went further away. She could feel the tears building inside of her, the pain coursing through her veins, and only a minute gone, did those tears come rushing to the surface.
Crouched low at the entrance of her home, she remained sat there, having the sting get the most of her, while her quiet sobs broke out.
She had sworn to do away with Shota. He had a restraining order on her, but she knew so well who the young man she had meddled with, was.
He wouldn't stop not until he had his way, and on that, she swore this night would be the last night he touched her.
She would make sure of that. No matter what it took her. That, she was certain of.
Meanwhile, lingering by a corner, out in the dark, was a lone figure.
Itsuki.
