Is it right to kill evil?

The large, bright blue slime was about 2 meters in size, spherical in shape, but its lower body part spread out as it moved, giving it a semi-spherical appearance. I don't know why, but I wasn't afraid of it; it exuded a sense of friendly presence. I looked at it and focused my attention on wanting to learn more about it. Clare helped me with that.

- Purifying Slime HP 10,000/10,000

- Non-aggressive monster (killing it will provide Evil Exp)

I calmed down upon seeing the harmless slime, but something intrigued me. Quickly noticing the slime's status, I asked my friend, "Clare, please tell me what Evil Exp and Good Exp are and what they do," expecting an answer as I focused my attention on her. *John, as you probably know, Exp is the fuel needed for leveling up. Exp can be obtained in various ways, such as by killing evil monsters, like you just did, gaining Good Exp, as well as regular Exp. However,* she suddenly stopped speaking, and I was intrigued by the visible text of her spoken words, "however?" I said, very interested. *Evil Exp is obtained by doing all things evil, and as you can probably guess, it's an easy but improper and immoral path. I hope you never choose to follow it,* she replied, concerned and a bit scared, probably imagining what would happen if I took that path. "I always try to do what is good," I stated to assure her that I would never do anything evil. *Promise me!* she started to worry about me with a voice full of doubt, as if she really wanted to make sure I wouldn't do it. "I promise on my good name that I will never do it!" I said with a serious tone, knowing that I truly didn't want to do anything evil. *Thank you, John,* she thanked, filled with joy and pride of her new master.

We then went for a walk in the vast meadows filled with beautiful flowers and various slimes. Some were small and aggressive, while others were larger and non-aggressive. I noticed that the larger the slime, the wiser it seemed. The small slimes, easily defeated with a kick or a hand strike, didn't give Exp because they were weak, while the slightly larger ones had 400 and 500 health points, more than a goblin. Therefore, I preferred not to attack them. I also noticed that some were neutral, attacking only when hungry or displeased, making me wonder if all monsters behaved similarly. I asked Clare, "Hey Clare, do all monsters behave similarly? I mean, are there neutral, aggressive, and non-aggressive ones?" After a moment, I got my answer. *Yes, the aggressive ones are hunted by all races, the neutral ones are open to negotiation if they are intelligent enough, or they are left alone and ignored. The non-aggressive ones are usually under punishment if killed, so it is considered a crime each time,* she taught me, making sure I understood.

"Okay, thank you," I replied with a smile and closed eyes, focusing on my surroundings and continuing to contemplate the strange world of Locfaiion. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I asked Clare, "Was that goblin neutral or aggressive?" This question made her think for a moment before giving a very clear and confident answer. *Depending on what kind of creature you are, monsters and other races will react to you in different ways. In the eyes of other monsters, that goblin might not have been aggressive, but in the eyes of humans, they are seen as a walking plague that must be eradicated. Therefore, that goblin was not neutral but aggressive,* Clare explained, wanting me not to show respect to monsters and assuring me that there was nothing wrong with killing them. "I understand what you're trying to tell me, but I simply can't bring myself to kill someone without knowing them and being sure they are harmful to others," I stated with a determined voice, knowing that I truly didn't want to do anything evil. *I understand,* she said with a sad voice.

After a long silence, we went around the area so I could gather food and build a shelter for the night. However, as time passed and the day remained unchanged, as if it were an eternal day, I finally mustered the courage to speak after hours of silence. "Clare, I'm sorry," I apologized, resigned, and added, "I've been thinking about it, and my stance is foolish. Maybe I could escape and hide from aggressive monsters, but what about those who can't do that and encounter a monster that I could have killed, but it ends up killing an innocent person?" I looked at her, expecting forgiveness. Then I heard *Thank you!* and she began to cry with peace and joy. *I was afraid you wouldn't want to help others out of fear,* she explained what was bothering her, slightly stuttering but very pleased. "Don't make me cry too," I told her to stop, equally cheerful.

*If you were afraid to start your journey, I would be useless because my purpose is to make you stronger by doing good,* she complained, sounding a bit disheartened that it was the only thing she could offer. "That's not true; we are friends not for gains but for companionship. You have no idea how happy I am that God sent you to me," I said, making a few tears roll down my face.

After this emotional experience for both of us, we talked about everything, asking about our interests and many other things. Finally, when I had prepared food and made a small platform from sticks and branches that was surprisingly stable and sturdy, located on a 20-meter tree which was easy to climb thanks to the tree's large and stable side shoots, the platform lay between the branches. After securing the line with Clare's help and fastening it to the platform, I made a small shelter to hide from danger. However, I felt it was not enough, and as the day slowly faded into a more orange-pink hue, I asked Clare, "Is there anything that could help me hide?" I requested her for more information with a serious tone, fearing for my safety. *There is nectar from the Rainbow Hope flowers; they are very rare, but if you sprinkle it on yourself, it is said that for several hours, the nectar should repel all undead creatures, perfect for the blue phase of the night, which is like an emptiness where only the undead roam, mainly ghosts but also creatures that see in the dark, creatures that emit light themselves, etc.,* Clare explained, prompting me to find it as soon as possible.

"Okay, let's find it as quickly as possible," I motivated myself to find it, optimistically minded, then ran to the meadow to search for these colorful flowers. Many times, I thought I found them, but Clare always said it wasn't the right one and pointed to places where there was a chance they grew. As dusk approached and time was running out, I begged God to help me, and after another hour, when it was very dark and I should have gone back to the shelter, I found it. "This is it!" I said confidently after examining several similar-looking flowers, then quickly ran towards the tree platform with my prepared food. Before climbing up, I sprinkled the nectar on myself as much as I could, checking my status every moment.

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 1 Hour left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 3 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 6 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 8 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 9 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 11 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 14 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 16 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 17 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 19 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 21 Hours left

- Blessing of the Rainbow Hope 23 Hours left

When I finished sprinkling all the nectar, the Blessing ended up on 23 hours, starting from now, giving me a sense of security and joy. I quickly climbed up the branches to the prepared base, lay down, and smiled that everything had somehow worked out. After a short prayer to God and thanking Him for everything, I began to look down from above, but I couldn't see anything; it was already so dark. I made sure the food wouldn't fall and placed it in a safe spot, then started contemplating.

*Clare,* I thought in my mind, trying to communicate with her through my thoughts. *Yes?* she replied with a calm voice. *You understand me?!* I asked, surprised. *Of course, John, why wouldn't I understand you?* she asked, astonished. *It's great that we can communicate telepathically!* I stated, very cheerful upon learning this. *I'm glad you like this way of communication,* she was pleased. *Clare, will everything be okay? I can still hear the sound of your system in my head, and it's still somewhat visible, but very faint. Will this attract the attention of monsters?* I asked, unsure. *No, only you can see the system, statuses, and everything I offer you. Only you can hear me through sight, hearing, touch, or even just a sense of my presence. All the senses by which a creature can feel my presence are hidden, and only you know about me. So, I hope you will take good care of me,* Clare said with trust. *Thank you for having such a good opinion of me,* I thanked happily.

*Let's go to sleep now. I'm sure you'll be happy when you find out what awaits you there,* Clare suggested, sounding stressed but also confident in whatever she was trying to do. *Okay, good night, Clare,* I said, then calmed down and realized that I hadn't slept for at least 40 hours. I was so tired that even though I tried to fall asleep, I couldn't. After a few minutes of complete silence, darkness, and calming my thoughts, I fell asleep. But something was off; when I fell asleep, it felt like I had been transported to a place similar to where I was when I found the light. Everything was white and pure again, and I felt like I wasn't dreaming. As I looked around, I saw a winged figure, like an angel. Just as I thought it was the same one I had spoken to after death, it turned out to look different. Before I could focus on its appearance, I heard a familiar voice. "John, I've been waiting for you,"...
