Her Sensitive Side

Jade immediately ran as soon as Shane chased after her. Although Jade tried to run as fast as possible with her power as a vampire, apparently the wolf ran faster than anything.

The only thing the wolves couldn't reach were the trees. Finally Jade chose to climb a tree and stopped right at the top. She looked down where Shane was snarling angrily at her. 

Jade's heart skipped a beat. She didn't know why Shane had to chase after her after she said the last sentence.

Shane even barked many times and tried to climb up, but couldn't.

"Shane!" Max shouted from a distance.

Of course, Shane turned and Jade widened her eyes. She knew for a fact that Max would try to protect her. But Jade didn't want the two of them to get hurt.

And now Shane was attacking Max. Almost hit him but Max managed to dodge by climbing a tree as well and then merged with Jade.

"Are you okay?" Max asked, grabbing his cheeks and waist.
