"Will he get well soon, Darius?" asked Mara.

"A few more hours. This will be the third and last time he has drunk wolf blood. He will be fine," said Darius.

Jade immediately turned to Shane, but Shane didn't look at hee because he didn't want anyone to get suspicious and know whose blood it really was.

"Look, the wound is slowly shrinking," said Wenny, comforting her daughter.

Mara was in tears and looked restless. She hugged her mother with sobs that indicated how afraid she was if something happened to her boyfriend.
