"How did it go?" Noah didn't speak a word when Aria came out of the doctor's office. But he couldn't resist asking once they had hit the roads.
"I'd say it went well," Aria replied, still trying to fathom all that had happened an hour ago. Although she wasn't a psychiatrist, she knew a thing or two. She was still surprised by how her first session had gone.
"Then, why do you look so perturbed?" Noah didn't miss the strange expression on her face and leaned closer to her to ensure everything was alright.
"The session was odd though."
"Odd? How?"
"The doctor didn't ask me anything related to my trauma. We didn't get to that topic at all." Aria folded her hands and thought about it again.
"Then, what did you two converse about?" Noah was intrigued. Since Ian suggested the psychiatrist, he didn't doubt her professionalism or skills. It just had to be her way of treating patients.
