Feelings- I

"You know I didn't behave that bad as you are making me look like by crying. "He grinned. "I am not crying, You are imagining things. Now let me go." She tried to release herself from him but his grip was too firm.

"Not until you listen to me." He loosened his grip from her.

Hallie released herself completely and faced him, "What?"

"Stay away from James. He is not good as he looks." Darius replied.

"Okay, but I was already going to that but why? Ummm… Perhaps you are jealous?" Now it was she who smirked and grinned. She loved that she found something to tease him.

"Are you crazy? Why would I be jealous? I am saying because of your own safety. Because as far as I know him, he is a total playboy and jerk. He loves fooling around with women." He tried to avoid any eye contact with her beautiful brown eyes. I f he stares into them, he would never be able to come back.

"And you don't?" She asked instantly.

"What?" He couldn't catch the meaning of her words.

"Whatever, Nothing." She turned around and left.

'This woman will make me crazy with her small phrases.' He went and sit on the bench near him. He satrted thinking abvout her. 'Will it be okay, when she get know why I have brought her?' After knowing what she truly feels about this whole drama, he isn't able to think about anything else but her.

Even though, she is uffering from so much, she is still able to make him quite which no one was able to do it till now. She is disgusted from her father because he sold her, so how much disgusted she is to the person who bought her? How much disgusted she is from me?

'Is it okay to play with her feelings? How much she will hate me when she get to know why she is here?'

"F*ck what the hell I am thinking? I am sounding like I am in love with her. No No No. I can't. I will complete my target. A woman can't distract me.

"What if you are really in love with her and you don't know?" A voice came from behind. "What are you doing here father? " Darius said without looking behind.

"I sensed that you are troubling with your thoughts. So I came here to help you." The king smiled.

He turned around and chuckled, "There is nothing to help, father. "

"I am just saying If you truly care about that girl, don't do this to her. She will be broken and so you will. Because true love comes once in a life . You can fall in love with someone else too, later but it will be nothing like this. Cause I know you have started developing feelings for her."

"Father, you are in sleep. Go back to sleep and stop talking nonsense." Now he is getting annoyed by her father's lectures about love.

"I am not talking nonsense. I know what you feel."

"Father, if someone is attracted to somebody, it doesn't mean that he likes her or have feelings for her. And I know that I couldn't fall in love with her. That will be bullsh*t." He tried to end this discussion but it seems like his father didn't want it.

You can if you forget about this stupid mission and tell her about your true self. It will not be that hard you know. "He was just trying to convincing him, hoping that he would understood. "Really and did you ever think, what she will think about me? Would she ever like me?"

'So, you like her but about her liking you, what can she do at the most? Leave you? I guess you can live with that. It would be good that at least you have told her and didn't beat around the bush. And who knows, maybe she ignored your flaws and also start to love you."

Darius shut his eyes tight. The thought of her loving him made him scared. She can never love him. All this is just impossible. When he open his eyes to tell his father, he was nowhere to found. He was gone now leaving him with his false imagination of her and him living together happily ever after.
