Martin shook his head, sadly, "I don't know, I didn't see their face."
"Okay, when did this all happen?"
"It has been more than a week now." Mrs. Melvin replied.
Freya looked at them incredulously with disbelief, "Yet his eyes look completely fine."
Martin looked at him mother with a frown, angry that she had said the wrong thing. Mrs. Melvin quickly tried to correct her mistake. "Ah, the thing is, we saw an experienced doctor, and he gave him a very good cream to heal his eyes."
Martin,s frown disappeared and was replaced with a fake smile as he turned to Freya, "Yes, that is why that there is no trace of any bruises or swelling on my eyes."
Freya knew that at this point that they would not come out and tell her the truth so she decided to bring justice to Lydia, but after hearing her part. "Alright, I will call you once I find any evidence."
"Okay, we will see you then." Mrs. Melvin replied, and they both stood up.
