Hearing his words for some reasons Mr Smith was taken aback and if he didn't know any better he would have felt bad for forcing his daughter but Emily was different if he doesn't force her out of her isolated world she would be even more depressed besides she doesn't seem that repulsive towards the guy's advances and

the guy truly care about his daughter making him even more determined to get them married.

" What about your family what will my father do to them if we don't get married" Emilia asked after sometime of quietness.

"What fate had prepare for us.. but that doesn't matter, what matters is your happiness Emilia I did gladly accept any punishment for this if it what will take to make you happy" Leon said watching her changing expressions, she seem to be thinking about something not waiting for her reply he continued.

" So Miss Smith think careful about what do you real want before answering me right now"Leon said before he went down on his knees, one hand reached his pocket and took out a small beautiful silver box then open it before showing it to her.

surprisedly it was a diamond ring! it took her sometime to comprehend what was happening.

"I may not be the best man in the world but I will try to be good one for you, miss Smith if you accept me I promise to cherish you more than I do myself, I will respect you.. honor you and always be loyal to you, I shall always be by your side until my last breath, so then .... miss Emilia Smith.. Will.. you..marry.. me?" Leonard asked nervously as his blue eyes look at her black ones in anticipation.

She was staring at him like he was an alien, she seem surprised but she didn't seem repulsive about it.

Taking her time like he had told her and he was patiently waiting for her answer making everyone who was watching held their breath.

"This stupid boy he shouldn't have made things complicated like that, now who knows what that hard headed daughter of mine is going to say" Mr Smith said while looking at them impatiently.

All this seem unnecessary he knew his daughter very well, if she didn't want the man she could careless what happens to who, she was even listening to his words and let him caress her, what more does he want so he did know that the girl likes him, he is truly naive no wonder he is still single Mr Smith thought inwardly.

Emilia has never felt this possessive of someone before but now she felt so possessive of him, she remember the last time she went to the mall and saw him with a woman, she felt wierdly jealous like she would strangle the woman by his side, it took her everything to maintain her cool,

only to find out that she was his sister she didn't know what she would have done if it was otherwise she couldn't even bear the women salivating over him not to mention someone else to have him.

After thinking throughly about about what she truly wanted, Emily looked at him who was now pale from helding his breath, she chuckled upon seeing his pale face before stretching her hand towards him so he could put the ring on her finger before saying teasingly.

"How can I refuse such a man " she said with a small smile as she look at him who was still confused about what she just said until she gesture for him to put the ring on her finger by her attractive eyes.

" Is that a ' YES' " Leon asked excitedly after putting the ring on her finger.

He got up standing straight right before her who was now very close to him, seeing him looking at her innocently like a puppy made her laugh lightly making others chuckle, what wrong with the two?however they were happy for them.

"Yes.."she said still having that small smile but he still seem to be in disbelief so she said it more properly and a bit louder for him to hear.

" Yes..I will marry you.. Mr Leonard Brown " she said seriously looking at his blue eyes but what he did after surprised her the most.

Hearing her answer he became delighted but was not sure if he was not imagining things.

" she said YES " he kept repeating it in his head before she said it loud ensuring him that he was not day dreaming, hearing her say yes made his heart feel warmth he couldn't contain his happiness and end up pouncing at her happily embracing her as he mumbled something into her ear making her shiver over his touch, although he said he would understand if she refused to marry him deep down he knew he would never be able to withstand her rejection, he couldn't picture himself without her she has become someone he wanted to be with at all cost.

Leonard knew that marriage is a matter of heart and body which he was not ready to give but still he didn't want to let her go, he had never been this selfish before but for her was ready to be one.

"she must belong to me and me only" he thought as he increase the pressure of his embrace holding her tightly almost choking her,

Leon moved his lips close to her ear making her feel his hot breath that shook her a bit he could feel her stiffen in his embrace.

" Thank you for accepting me Emilia I shall always cherish you my fiancee" he said still embracing her,

right then he felt her soft hands moving around his back as she hug him back resting her head on his shoulder

Nothing could make him any happier than this, she was in his arms and he too held her tightly lost in their own world that was until they heard someone coughing

Taking their attention they quickly let go of each other and looked at the direction of the noise.. they were surprised.

But they didn't give them a chance immediately they started to give their blessings, making them even more embarrassed.
