Tracking Down the Runaway Bishop

Hearing Feerah's commentary, Jash finally realized what he had just done. Jash looked back at the blood on his blade. He swallowed, dislodging the bundle of nerves that was rising up inside him. Blinking, Jash made sure to stay calm while swinging the sword to flick off the blood.

"You know, the best way to clean the blood is to use their clothes," Feerah suggested. "Nice sword. I've never seen one like that before."

Nodding, Jash quickly used the unconscious man's shirt to wipe the kora sword clean. Then, Jash stored it and retrieved his other blade.

Feerah was busy locking everyone up in shackles. She also drizzled some sort of potion over the severed ankle, causing the wound to somehow cauterize and seal up. With the bleeding stopped and everyone locked up, Feerah looked at Jash. "You've never killed someone, have you?"

"No. But I did learn killing intent."
