"There's no need to blush, Nelphy!" Zac commented while he got changed in the next room over. "Dad's not as aloof and mysterious as you'd think!"

"I'll take that as a compliment," laughed Tiberius. "Anyway, Zac told me that you already know who your father is, correct? Though you've agreed to hide that information from Jash until he's ready to handle such a burden of information. May I ask why?"

Nelphy nodded and sat down on the couch in the small living area. "That's right. Sadly, I don't think Jash is mature enough to keep that a secret. And… he might not be ready for a while."

"Why do you say that?" Tiberius asked while sitting on the lone recliner opposite Nelphy. Without batting an eye, Tiberius read her body language and expression while running through a few possible scenarios in his mind. "Did something happen during the ruin run to prove he's not trustworthy?"
