Nelphy apologized to Jash, changing the subject to the furniture around them. The selection wasn't huge, but the three price options were nice, as was the catalog of furniture available for order. In the end, the siblings agreed to get the cheapest options for everything.
At the checkout, Nelphy greeted the female clerk and pointed out which pieces of furniture they wanted. To Nelphy's surprise, the clerk's suspicious look from earlier was gone, completely replaced by a warm, accepting smile.
Holding out a list of paper, the young woman asked, "Mark the pieces you need here, then I'll run it to our stockers after you pay. They'll deliver everything and set it up at your home."
"Really? But doesn't that cost extra?" Jash asked.
The woman nodded, adding, "It's on Mr. Parnap's orders. He wants to make sure you get settled in as comfortably as possible."
Nelphy chuckled and took the paper and a fountain pen. "Alright. I'll make sure to thank him tomorrow."
