"Yeah. Do you think I'm lying?" snickered Nelphy, leading the way out of City Hall's west entrance and down a few stairs.
"No! I'm just surprised, is all… I didn't think you'd be able to pull that off so easily, and with such a young business," answered Zac. "But congratulations! If you can convince those old farts to budge, then you deserve it!"
"Thank you. Now, it's already getting late… Do you want to… get a bite to eat?"
Caught off guard, Zac almost tripped on the last stair step. "Oh? Yeah! … I'd like that."
Seeing the cool and collected Zac fumble like that, Nelphy couldn't help but chuckle. "Well, where do you want to go? You can pick, but you'll have to keep it cheap since I'm on a budget."
"You're paying?" asked Zac.
Nelphy nodded. "I'm the one that asked, aren't I? So yeah. Now hurry and pick before I change my mind."
"Okay… Then, how about Bil's?"
