Released From Custody

(Jason's POV)

"Well, I guess I'll be on my way." I said

I was standing in front of the Garou Knights outside the safehouse. Arcadios himself had traveled all the way out here to release me from their custody. 

"I apologize, Jason-dono." Arcadios said, "I never thought Darton would go that far to send God Serena to bring you in." 

I shrugged, "No biggie." I said, "I can't complain. Not like I was gonna be executed or anything. Besides, did some things I enjoyed."

I looked at Cosmos and Kamika who were slightly blushing as they looked away. 

I'm not sure if Arcadios knows that I fucked the princess. If he does know, I don't think he's making a big deal out of it. I mean, I do expect the King himself to be upset but I assume they're making an exception here. Hisui herself is pulling the strings to let me off the hook. 

Oh, that jade-haired beauty. I should pay her a visit and give her a special thanks one of these days. That would probably cause more trouble than I would like to have at the moment. 

Arcadios nodded, "Understood." He said, "Again, I deeply apologize." 

I waved him off, "Oh don't worry about it." I said, "Give Hisui my regards." 

"That reminds me, Jason-dono." Arcadios said, "Have you heard of the recent meeting the Magic Council had?" 

The Magic Council? I haven't had a run-in with them, I always expect to. Considering my run-ins with Grimoire Heart and dealing with Tartaros, I would at least make contact with them in some way. 

There's also God Serena, I didn't expect him to still be in Ishgar, much less him be on the council's call. Makes sense if he's still the Rank 1 Wizard Saint. Apparently, he subdued me while I blacked out. I didn't know I did black out again, I wonder what that was about. That makes two times that happens.

And Arcadios is asking about a meeting the Magic Council had. It must've been an important one if he's asking if I heard about it. I wonder what the hell is going on. 

I shook my head, "No, should I have?"

He gave me a serious look, "I imagine you should've." He said, "You have a history of helping out the kingdom, so I think you should know."

I looked at him, "What's up?"

"Nothing is confirmed, but it could be a possibility." He said seriously, 

"Arikitashia are trying to declare War."

(Third Person POV)

In the Magic Council Headquarters, Makarov walked the halls with Erza and Mirajane following behind him. 

He had a grim look on his face as Mira and Erza had serious faces of their own. 

As they walked, they approached a lone mage standing in the middle of the hallway. As they reached him, both Erza and Mira felt an immense magic power coming from him. 

God Serena turned to face them with a smug smile. 

Makarov widened his eyes in surprise, "You..." He said

"Oh, if it isn't a fellow Wizard Saint!" Serena said as he opened his arms, "How is the Master of the top Guild in Fiore? And those two behind you...." 

God Serena immediately appeared in front of Erza and Mira who were surprised at his sudden speed. 

"What the?" Erza managed to say

"Titania and The Demon!" Serena said as he backed up and struck a pose, "It is a pleasure to finally meet you!" 

Mira smiled nervously, "A-and you are?" 

Makarov looked at Serena, "Erza, Mira, this here is the Rank 1 Wizard Saint." He said, "He's-"

God Serena struck another pose, "God Serena of The Eight Dragons!!!" He announced, "God to Meet You." 

"God?" Erza said

Serena chuckled, "I like my Godly puns." He said, "Oh, Makarov, I heard you guys were helped out by this one Jason fellow a while back. Multiple times, in fact." 

Makarov looked at him, "You heard of Jason?" He asked, "Yes, he's a powerful individual that helped us before." 

Serena nodded, "Yea, I actually fought him just recently." He said

They widened their eyes in surprise. 

"What?" Makarov exclaimed

Serena chuckled, "He wasn't at full power, but he got me a couple of times." He said, "I managed to come out on top, but he gave a scare, I won't even lie." 

Erza looked at him, "To think you're powerful enough to bring Jason down." She said, "It is surprising." 

"Ha!" Serena laughed, "If he's as strong as you think he is, he might give me a run for my money next time we fight. Hell, I think I might invite him to fill in the empty Wizard Saint spots." 

Makarov nodded, "I think it is best if the Council invites him." He said, "We can use his strength." 

"Oh yea." Serena said, "Which brings me to the thing I wanted to tell you, Makarov." 

Makarov looked at him, "What is it?" 

Serena gave him a serious look, "Alvarez." He said, "They might want Jason." 

"We can't let them have him."
