"What happened to Aiden?" Avery voiced out my thought. I guess she was only asking that since Aiden was not in school yesterday and was absent this morning since he wasn't in class. I couldn't exactly ask Nolan cause I knew he would only tease me. Maybe I'll ask his brother.
Right after the mall on Saturday, he had dropped me off at home, pretending that there was no awkwardness between us.
He came for our English presentation on Monday but barely spoke to me throughout or even after the presentation. I loathed the silence. I abhorred it completely, and it turned out that I wasn't the only one that noticed.
The presentation was resilient. I nearly had a panic attack while staring at everyone's faces in the class, but Aiden held my hand and ran his thumb soothingly over it. That was the only reason why I came out of that class unscathed.
