Extra Demon: Sacred Academy of Light
Demons in Academy of Light are described as vile, dark, cruel, evil, impure, and a whole lot of other things. At least, that's how they're portrayed in the game—a sacred land where demons and dark energies aren't supposed to exist. That's how it was supposed to be... So what the hell am I supposed to do now? Thanks to my rotten luck, my soul ended up possessing the lowest-ranking demon, the one who dies at the very beginning of the story... I'm screwed! I have no other options left... If I want to survive, I have to kill the protagonist.
Chapter 59: Library
"... Damn the worst fate of all!" Cursing silently, I pray quietly for those poor seven men...
Lilith chuckles softly, "Well, that's all from me, as you can feel, I'm being quite sincere—a fair deal." She pulled out some candies from nowhere and popped them into her mouth.
"It's impressive; as far as I can tell, she loves sweets, she never stops eating them," I reflected to myself. But thinking about her words, I lightly touched my chest... the contract hasn't been tainted, still blood-red like before. If Lilith's words had been lies, the contract would have stained white. "Well, here we go..." What I basically need is... hesitating a bit... "Your essence." That sounds so strange! It could be taken in a very twisted way...
Lilith blinked a couple of times, slowly put the candies down, and adjusted herself a bit, pursing her lips slightly, "What else do you need?" she asked.
