Police station

Being led inside the police station was a fairly ordinary experience. The receptionist guided the trio through several offices where police officers were hard at work. The people here looked as tired as the receptionist leading them. Noticing Reeva's gaze, the receptionist broke the silence.

"Not every day is like this... We've been short on people lately...."

"Why?" Reeva asked, anticipating what the man with glasses would say.

The recent unrest in the police station likely stemmed from the fact that he had messed up some of the church's forces. Theodore was probably incapacitated after that fight, forcing the church to pull back some of its strength to recover. This meant that cases normally handled by the church were now falling to the police.

"Well, there was some incident....."

"Magnum! Are you discussing confidential information with random people again!?"
