Pain far more than Reeva had ever felt coursed through his thigh. Reeva's mind almost gave up when he cut off his legs. However he managed to hold on, and his coldness spread throughout his body and retracted the mystic power he released. Gradually freeing himself of the pain he felt.

The arrow fell off his hand since now it felt heavier than himself, ridding Reeva of the thing that could be used to track him. The hand of the tower tried to shoot more arrows in his general direction, some came close to hitting Reeva but without any indication of his position the arrow could only hit air.

His body was in the air for a solid minute before he hit the ground. His body would have splattered if he wasn't devoid of mystic power. He really thanked the world for how this place works, otherwise, he would not survived an encounter with these beings.
