Rallying his friend, he needs to make a move now. Ghaarsh has about 20 minutes left before he would need to end his transformation. The beast boy's power is to turn into a wolf for about 30 minutes. Any more than that then his mind would be consumed by a real wolf and become nothing but an animal.

Brent's power is coating an object with a fire, his body burns up every time he uses his power so spamming it is not possible.
